I hurriedly packed a bag with our children's toys in it, trying not to cry as my 3 month old sobbed and listening to my 9 year old reassure her that dads coming to protect them.
As far as I knew Spock was still on the bridge, and we needed to evacuate the ship.
We were close enough to the shuttle bay that we were able to get to a shuttle and get out of here, the oldest ones who are 17 and 19 suddenly came back.
"Mom we've got company!"
They ducked out of the way as something whizzed past them.
"Get them out of here now!"
I ushered the children out of the way as I picked up a phaser and fired at it, it had minimal effect on the creature but I was to be damned if I let that thing get close to my girls.
I didn't hesitate to follow them, once i was able to get past it I caught up to them and tried as hard as I could to protect them from falling debris, until we got into the shuttle
"Alright we're getting out of here one way or another all of you hold on! Hold on!"
I very quickly turned on the engines, trying to navigate threw this storm of ships I finally cleared it when I recognised a blue shirt in one of the shard like ships.
"We're gonna follow that ship"
"Are you Crazy?"
I gave my oldest T'Val a look and she got up to check on the others I tried to communicate the other ship with no luck I kept following them until they crashed on the planet, I smiled as I recognized one blue shirt hop out with ease, then when I saw Spock try to jump out I ran out of the shuttle in a panic.
"Daddy!"
"Oh my god dad are you okay!"
The kids followed me as we helped Spock out of the ship
"Oh god, Kids let's go get some stuff out of the shuttle while Bones helps your father alright"
I flinched when Spock screamed in pain, I noticed T' Oaal lethargically grabbing some of her stuff, I gently rubbed her back and she smiled at me before following me outside.
"T'val and T'Oaal why don't you help your dad walk"
They nodded and grabbed his arms,
"I thought I saw a cave up that way"
I looked over at Bones who nodded, picking up T' Kall my nine year old who suggested the cave.
Amanda, the youngest finally calmed down as I lead the way.
When we got to the cave we all sat down, passing water around I rested my head on Spocks shoulder, who in an unusual display of affection kissed the top of my head and the others.
"Ambassador Spock has died"
He remarked sadly, I hugged him closer to me as the children looked around sadly.
"I'm so sorry Spock"
Bones and Spock talked for a little bit when everyone did a double take. Spock started laughing quietly, his laugh was so infectious that we all quietly chuckled.
"Alright kids, we've got to keep moving"
I stood up and brushed the dirt off my pants, Bones did the same and the kids got up and started to work together.
I was about to help Spock stand up, when he did he passionately grabbed my shoulders and kissed me. I pulled away when the kids started gagging but he only kept smiling.
"Thank you y/n, for the wonderful family you have gifted us with"
He kissed my cheek, and picked up T' Kall carrying her as I supported him.
"Do you think we can do it?"
Bones asked me as the others started back down the trail
"My children almost died today, I'm never going to let that happen again"
I could feel Spock turn and look over at me, but I didn't look back.
"Good luck Spock"
