On the enterprise, people were changing shifts, getting dinner in ten forward, going about their lives.
Meanwhile upstairs on the bridge, Captain and Y/n Kirk were running around screaming.
Some how, both husband and wife could not stand the sight of spiders.
So when a creepy crawly randomly appeared on the arm of the captains chair, both of you ran for your lives.
"Call Bones! He'll kill it"
You were practically yelling
"We can't kill it!"
Jim, even though he was just as scared wanted a peaceful solution
"WHY NOT!"
A full blown argument was about to start
"It's a living creature!"
"ITS A NIGHTMARE WITH 6 MORE LEGS THAN NECESSARY"
"Nightmare or not we can't kill it"
"Just call bones he'll get it"
When you calmed down slightly, it was only 4 minutes before your knight in shining armor, or your brother showed up with a cup and a book.
"Alright where is it?"
At the same time you both pointed to the corner of the room.
He sighed and rolled his eyes, he had it removed in seconds mumbling as he left
"And they trust you with a starship"
Once the door shut and you both calmed down slightly bones and Spock came back.
"I understand you had some trouble with a spider?"
"Trouble? that thing went for our throats!"
You responded dramatically, Bones has his classic look
I am 110% done with your crap
Jim laughed quietly, trying not anger the doctor too much.
"I do not understand according to the doctor the spider was 1 inch big"
"Our throats"
You both emphasized, before pointing at each other's throats.
Both Spock and Bones shared looks, they didn't have to say anything to know how the other felt about the couples antics.
After talking for a few more minutes, you got called away back to engineering. Bones went with you gagging as he watched you and Jim say goodbye
"Love you"
You playfully shoved your brother who faked hurt, Jim and Spock waved like two little kids as the door shut
"Love you too!"
