Jim lifted my hands up and gingerly kissed my knuckles.
I smiled as the cool summer wind brushed past us, We were laying in the field outside the academy, the blue and golden skies illuminated everything around them to shimmer including the crystal blue in Jim's eyes.
We had some time off before class and instead of going back to our rooms I insisted we we went for a walk and we ended up laying down in the grass on our coats.
"What do you think our future will be like?"
He asked me softly.
"I don't know yet, Maybe in ours we'll find some nice house in the country side, with a little farm, leading a perfect life with great kids"
He smiled, as he pictured it himself I couldn't help but notice the way his golden hair fluttered around in the breeze, just how perfect he looked when he was smiling.
"Mmhm sounds nice what about the kids? I would love to have two daughters, I hope They'll look like you but I think we both agree.. they should have my hair"
I giggled, until I noticed someone approaching who I assumed was Bones trying to get our attention.
"Looks like we're being ordered back"
I pointed him out and Jim rolled his eyes before he started helping me up, picking up our coats.
He held my hand as we walked back up to where Bones stood, who was fretting like a grandmother. He was always like a dad to me, a really overprotective dad.
"Are you two crazy, I mean taking a little walk is one thing but you missed almost 2 classes!"
He kept going and going about how we were being irresponsible skipping class, He was running circles around us so when I finally pulled him next to me, I almost started laughing as he looked like steam was about to come out of his ears.
I leaned over whispering in Bones ear
"Stop worrying Bones, I am a grown woman"
He sighed
"I'm sorry y/n I just don't want anything to happen 'cause someone else dragged you down" he emphasized, giving Jim a look.
"That's okay, you're still my favorite"
He smiled warmly before I hear Jim dramatically gasp, when I turned around he was on the floor with a hand over his heart
"You have betrayed my heart, my one true love"
