A/n: mentions of PTSD and Anxiety attacks please do not read if that is a trigger for you.
Jim sat down in front of you, holding your favorite drink, he gently rubbed your back as another anxiety attack passed.
When Spock died, Standing on the other side of the glass, and not being able to do anything left lasting affects on you, the biggest one being anxiety attacks in the middle of the night.
Tonight you were able to call Jim before it got so bad you couldn't speak, sometimes you cried so hard your throat burned for days but your room was sound proof, so no one could hear.
Jim just let you cry, inside he felt the same way losing his best friend, and seeing you like this, but he had to be strong, he'd carry you to hell and back.
Finally, after what felt like hours for you, the crying seemed to stop for now.
"I'm sorry Jim, I can't stop it anymore"
"Don't, it'll make it hurt more, just know I'm here for you"
He pulled you closer, and you gladly hugged back.
"It hurts so bad some times, sometimes I feel like I'm back there and I want to scream"
Shakily, you spoke and he nodded,
"I do to, but you know what Spock would be telling us right now?"
"Sometimes I can not tell how you get around in those highly illogical brains"
You mimicked just voice, to look up and see Jim biting his lip trying so hard not laugh.
After a beat, you both busted out laughing over each other.
Once you both calmed down slightly, you spoke again,
"Sarek has offered for me to stay on Vulcan for a while, until I'm able to come back and work"
"Of course, can't wait to drop you off "
(I'm not sure how much time passes between when Spock dies and when he comes back)
"Jim!"
Jumping into a hug, Jim twirled you around and set you down fast.
"Y/n, it's hard to explain but we found Spock"
Your knees buckled, thankfully Jim already had his hands on your arms.
You said hello to your other crew members, but none matter so much to you as Spock.
Holding Jim's hand, your leg bounced up and down as you waited.
Bones came down first, and you tackled him in a hug again, gently.
You grabbed both of their hands as Spock passed by you, you could see him look at you, but the crowd around him kept going.
Tears stream downed your cheeks, you grabbed their hands tighter.
Finally Spock stopped on the steps, turning towards you slowly, it felt like your heart was beating faster with each of the steps he took.
He stopped in front of you,
"My father tells me you are my wife"
"I am"
You spoke, biting your lip trying not to cry harder, taking off Spocks ring, which you had attached to a necklace you wore constantly.
He took it but responded
"If you are my wife, shouldn't you put the ring on my finger?"
You giggled, and took off the chain, slipping it on to his finger.
"So I'm still your wife?"
"I believe marrying you was the most logical decision I ever made"
