"I'll be fine" he says "these gloves have the greatest grip ever" he says.
Data and I stood together on a rock a little less than a quarter of a mile away from where Will is trying to scale a cliff side.
"He's so not going to make it"
I pulled my antigrav boots out from backpack hopping as I walked and put them on.
"You clearly stated you believed in Wills ability to rock climb"
he very quickly put his binoculars up to his eyes again.
"That was before I saw him actually doing it"
I started sprinting down the path, arriving to Will in no time at all.
"Will I don't think this is a good idea"
I floated using antigravity boots next to Will as he climbed a cliff side.
"I don't appreciate that"
he pulled himself up again
"Why don't you go bother Data?"
He asked again and I crossed my arms
"Number 1 as your wife i don't appreciate that number 2 he's also monitoring your progress"
He sighed and pulled himself up again.
"And how I am doing?" He asked me
"You're certainly not breaking any records"
he rested his head against the rock.
"I love you but please stop bothering me for minute, or I might fa.. "
as he spoke he slipped down the cliff.
I panicked slightly as I dove down to catch him pushing my boots as hard as they could go.
"Gotcha"
a sense of relief washed over me as I set him down as Data ran onto the rock
"Are you alright Commander?"
Will brushed his shoulder
"The only thing that is bruised is my dignity"
Data nodded and went back to our campsite.
"Alright come on you brave hero"
I helped him off the rock and back to our campsite for shore leave.
I held his hand as we walked through the forest Data just a few steps ahead.
"I'm so excited to eat"
we caught up to Data and I held both of their hands grinning.
"I think we packed some sandwiches"
I smiled as I imagined the food awaiting me.

**TIME SKIP**

I smiled as Will cleaned the marshmallows off his face
"You're no help at all"
we laughed as Data searched for more firewood.
"I saved you from falling off a cliff"
I faked insult as I shoved his arm and he smiled warmly, wrapping his arm around my waist. I assumed he was leaning in for a kiss and I was about to reciprocate when he smashed a marshmallow against my lips.
"I hate you"
I smiled as I cleaned the melted goo off my face
"No you don't"
