A little less than a year after our wedding, I was cuddling with Pavel, enjoying our morning.
He was holding my hand, playing with each of my fingers before he looked over at his watch that had conveniently slid down his wrist.
"Ooh, we need to go babe"
I nodded standing up a little to quickly as I my head felt like it was spinning and sick was rising in my throat.
"God, I think I need to go to the med-bay this is the 4th time today I felt sick like this"
Pavel was pulling on his shoes, when he dropped one in surprise
"Do you think it could mean?"
He smiled, we'd been trying for the past few months now.
"Maybe, I hope so anyway.. OH that gives me an idea.. I should see Bones about it, god I hope I can make him faint again"
Pavel cracked up at the mention of it, The doctors angry southern mutterings as he brushed the dirt off of his uniform was his favorite part of the whole thing.
"Do you want me to walk with you down there?"
"Won't you be late?"
"Walking with my wife who may or may not be pregnant is a little bit more important than my being minutes late to my shift"
Pavel dramatically huffed, he smiled at me as soon as he finished taking my hand, leading me to the med-bay.
We said our goodbyes and he planted a quick kiss on my forehead, before he left again.
"Nurse chapel? Do you know where my brother is?"
I asked, when I entered she was the only person I saw.
"Sorry, he's on the bridge I could help you with whatever you need"
She smiled at me, thinking quickly another plan came to mind.
I grinned back at her, thinking of the chaos.

A month later

The same group of as before were together on shore-leave, I'd insisted that we have a picnic together again, almost all of them except for Bones happily agreed.
Bones begrudgingly came, making me swear up and down there'd be no surprises.
We'd all been sitting around in a circle, Bones on the opposite side of me, Jim on his left, Spock, and then Chekov was leaning on me. On bones right was Sulu and Scotty.
It'd been about 30 minutes before I nodded at Jim, he pulled out a bottle of scotch.
"I brought something extra along"
Jim spoke in a sing song voice, before he grabbed a few spare glasses. As everyone cheered chekov handed me a glass, he was biting his lip trying not to smile, he happily played along.
"How much would you like y/n?"
Jim leaned over about to pour, I stopped him.
"No thanks, it wouldn't good for the baby"
I unintentionally snorted, as Bones started choking again, as he pulled himself together Spock took his cue
"Y/n,I must ask is the child mine?"
"Or mine?"
Jim piped up, my face fell, acting along with them, I stuttered
"S..Sp... Spock now isn't a good time okay, cause.. Umm.. I don't know for sure, it's still too early to tell"
Almost like a cartoon, bones looked like he'd been hit over the head before he just fell backwards.
Sulu and Scotty both shared a bag of popcorn, watching the drama unfold before them.
Pavel started to angrily shout in Russian, adding to it until all of us started laughing.
Scotty helped him sit up, Bones rubbed his head probably trying to fight a headache.
"Are you telling me that, that green blooded, pointy eared, hobgoblin OR that corn fed, country bumpkin MIGHT be the father of your child?"
"Maybe"
