A/n: More Smoking, Drinking, takes place during academy. Please don't read if anything mentioned is a trigger for you.
Also the Song mentioned is Honey-Pie by JAWNY

Jim cranked up the radio in my old car, I instantly recognized the song, Honey-pie. Jim held my free hand as we both sang the lyrics.
The dirt-roads were completely empty except us, we'd both gotten some free-time so we agreed on a road trip. I begged Bones to come with us but he was more eager to a week away from us.
Finally I started to recognize the old camping ground, before the car was mine, my dads would take me on camping trips out next to this beautiful lake. I promised Jim we would come eventually, once we joined the academy time slipped away faster than we thought.
Jim gasped softly as we got closer, the lake coming into view still as beautiful as it was 12 years ago.
The song changed, but Jim kept hold of my free hand as I pulled in. I turned the radio up a little bit more before turning to Jim, I couldn't help but laugh,
"Come on dummy"
We spent the next hour pitching the tent, I did most of the assembling as Jim transferred items to me from the car. Finally things were settled and we were sitting around the fire, the radio still playing but softer, certainly more ambient.
After some quick playing in the lake, more accurately I shoved Jim in after he stole my lighter. I took pity on him, but fell for the classic trick as soon as he had my hand he pulled me in.
A cigarette hung loosely between my lips as Jim and I were passing around a bottle drying off, Bones gave it to us before we left, Jim's choice of drink wasn't always stellar Bones practically shoved into my hands, muttering a 'You'll thank me later' as he left.
We were practically laying on top of each other in silence, Jim was laying underneath me, claiming I was warmest, running his cold hand through my hair. I was looking away from Jim watching as the fire burned tall, crackling like crazy I watched the smoke fade out into the sky. A peaceful feeling over took me, throwing the burned out stub into the fire. I turned back over to Jim who was staring up at the sky a hazy smile gracing his features.
I pulled the blanket back up over my shoulders as I adjusted, our faces inches away from each other.
"Do you remember that field out by my house, before we moved a bit closer to you guys?"
Jim asked quietly. I smiled as the memories came back to me,
"Remember? How could I forget, Jim Kirk the boy who would follow me through those hills until the day he married me"
He chuckled, His hand stopped playing with my hair instead he cupped my cheek.
"We did a lot more than that on those hills, the first time we did it up there I could've sworn you were an angel, the most beautiful person I'd ever seen"
He pulled me down into a kiss, I melted against his lips for a few seconds before pulling away.
"You say that like you've seen someone most beautiful"
I tried to conceal my smile, knowing I was just messing with him.
"Never"
He laughed, before interlocking our legs and flipping me over. His cold wet hair dripped onto my face as he quickly kissed me again before stating,
"I love you y/n, more than anything"
"I love you more"
I responded, before kissing back but he pulled away quickly, standing up. I stood up to about to protest when Jim picked me up bridal style.
He carried me into the tent, and placed me down gently on the mattress before whispering into my ear
"I love you most"
