Ensign Pavel Chekov

Earlier this morning I was told Id be on an away mission with the captain, an away mission that we assumed would be somewhat safe.
A planet has been discovered hiding loads of mining recourses because it was not a federation planet it was poorly protected and all starfleet could do was send ships often to take care of certain threats.
The Klingons had started mining towards the center of the planet, when a surprise attack from the romulans meant the drill was abandoned before they could turn off the systems the drill was now just a couple hundred of miles from the core of the planet.
Now the Captain and I were on top of the drill trying to disable it. We had tried to do it by controls on the klingon ship which had frozen up now, we'd gotten to the point where we  tried ripping at what we could with our hands, now we fired our phasers at what we could see unfortunately the explosions that were so bright and fiery they were shaking the drill so much I was helpless as I felt myself flying back to the edge.
"Y/N!!"
I could hear the captain yell for me as I tried to grab the edges.
At the same time a thunderous boom came from the drill, and it began to break off as I fell from the edge.
While falling I tried to pull my parachute but as I did the cord ripped straight out.
A small but short feeling of relief washed over me when I felt the captain pull me into his grasp yet his parachute also snapped off.
"Enterprise beam us up!"
The captain shouted in the communicator attached to my shoulder.
"You are moving to fast captain we can't get a solid lock on either of you"
Spock responded and I could very faintly hear someone shouting in the background
"I can do that! I can do that"
I hoped whoever said that wasn't joking as we plummeted to earth.
"Beam us up!"
"Enterprise beam us up now!" The captain and I both screamed into my communicator. I didn't realize how close we were to the ground as light beams wrapped around us to signify that we were being transported when I felt my leg hit the ground, I started to scream in pain.
In the same second of my leg breaking we were back on the transport pad and I was swiftly being carried to the med-bay.
"Bones we have a problem"
The captain set me down on a medical table the last thing I felt was a hypospray go into my neck and I suddenly passed out.
When I woke up again The Doctor and The Captain were standing over me talking in hushed voices
"Hello again"
The captain smiled warmly at me.
"Mornin' darlin' Just a broken leg" he patted my good leg
"You need a week of rest and two weeks of physical therapy before I can clear you to come back to work alright"
I adjusted and nodded
"You can leave tomorrow but you are restricted to your quarters" Doctor McCoy gave me more information and then left me to settle.

**TIME SKIP**

Now I'm laying in bed facing my tv bored out of my mind.
I had my leg propped up on two pillows and I was feeling comfortable and I almost started to fall asleep when my two best friends shouted from the door
"MOVIE NIGHT!" I grinned as we all got comfortable Sulu showed me all the food they brought and Chekov started the movie. I leaned on chekov and sulu leaned on both of us as we watched the movie intently and I couldn't stop grinning as Pavel and Sulu joked around trying to throw popcorn in each other's mouths.
We watched movies for a good couple of hours before Sulu spoke up
"Alright im off to bed see you guys later"
We said our goodbyes and I smiled at Pavel who gently rubbed my arm as the extra credit scenes played out.
"I'm so sorry" Pavel apologized unexpectedly
"For what?" I sat up on my arm, totally confused about what was going on
"If I had been just a little bit quicker you wouldn't have broken your leg"
I could feel my heartbreak at the sad expression on his face.
"Oh Pavel you have nothing to apologize for, my leg breaking is my fault" I pressed my lips to his cheek when he muttered something in Russian
"Хотел бы я сказать тебе, как сильно я тебя люблю (I wish I could tell you how much I love you)"
Pavel blushed realizing I heard that even though I didn't understand it
"What?" I smiled at him being so shy.
"I said I wish I could tell you how much I love you"
"You love me?" I asked shocked
"Since I crashed into you at the academy" I giggled quietly at the memory.
"Since you came crashing into my heart" I tried the most cliche line I could think of and he smiled, nodding he spoke again.
"Something to that affect" within moments he very quickly smashed his lips against mine.
