"She's dying ma'am"
"She's refusing to wake up, she won't wake up"
Jumping out of bed, y/n l/n grabbed either side of her head.
Even though she knew this is where she belonged, that this world was hers she was plagued by thoughts, horrible, terrible thoughts making her think she wasn't really here.
After a couple of minutes, y/n got up slowly and got ready for her day.
Pulling her shoes on she went to her mirror and looked straight at her yellow eyes.
"How weird is that? I always thought my eyes were blu- ahhh"
Taken a back, She screamed in pain, a sudden head-ache made her whole world shake for a few seconds.
Pulling herself together, she practically ran out of her room.
Going about her day, nothing seemed out of the ordinary but when she turned her head, or when she had her back to someone, she could've sworn she heard a familiar voice, familiar sounds that reminded her of a different place, but she couldn't remember anything.
To try and take her mind off things and when the bridge was a little bit more quiet she made a little stop to visit her boyfriend Data, having made an instant connection since she arrived.
They were talking for a few minutes when she rested her hand against the console.
She screamed in pain again, her whole world shook as the console turned into a hospital table.
"Y/n are you alright?"
Data asked, ignoring him, or not being able to hear him she ran to the door and down the hallways, nothing made sense any more, even as she stumbled and as pain flooded her mind she could see that things were changing, closed doors became glass hospital doors with the curtains shut. Sounds flooded her ears that sounded exactly like a hospital, a loud voice over the intercom
"Will y/n l/n please return to her room?"
Panicking as her memories came flooding back to her.
Slamming against the key to open a door, y/n ran into it until the door crumbled letting her in.
Suddenly data appeared in his 'gangster' suit sitting down in a chair.
Like a slap in the face, reality knocked on her doorstep as she tried to reinforce the locked door, desperate not to go to back to a life she could barely remember. In tears she stumbled onto her knees in front of him and he pulled her up.
"No data, don't make me go please don't let me go no, no, no"
She grabbed onto the Android tightly, her sobs making her shake violently as her paradise crumbled around her.
"You will be able to heal much faster if you let go now"
He pushed her off his shoulder slightly, enough so that he could brush the tears away from her eyes now slowly turning green, surely to turn blue any second.
"We always have forever"
Those were the last words she heard as data crumbled like dust under her.

Opening her eyes with a jolt in a brand new room, she slowly sat up looking around at the hospital room she was clearly in.
Instead of the warm lighting of enterprise med-bay this room was cold and bright white.
Looking around the room, her eyes fell on the tv up high in the corner of the room.
"Yes, mister data?"
Sighing, she switched off the volume immediately recognising the episode and data's costume, turning around and continuing to take in her surroundings.
"Oh your awake!"
She gasped in shock, the doctor who entered the room looked almost exactly like Doctor Crusher down to the shade of red in her hair.
"May I have a mirror please?"
She asked quietly, motioning with her head to the table, letting out a barely audible gasp when she recognised where she'd just seen it as the doctor passed it to her.
Pulling the mirror up to her face, y/n inspected every inch.
"That's funny, I always thought my eyes were a... different color"
She remarked, to the blue eyes staring back at her.
