The week that followed Lupin and Tonks' wedding was filled with all sorts of madness for Desiree. Her parents tried visiting her as much as they could, but, they were spending most of their time ensuring the safe house was ready to move into at a moments notice. On Desiree's side of things, things were much more entertaining. Every day the twins would try to prank her. Luckily, she was able to tell and avoid the prank. That was much of a let down for them. Well, except for the one prank they were successfully able to pull off, with what the muggles called water balloons. Desiree thought it was quite funny, mainly because it felt refreshing in the hot summer heat. The girls, however, had been having the time of their lives. Every night, they would stay up talking into the wee hours of the morning. One night, they stayed up until sunrise. Ginny was not kidding when she said the night of the wedding was just the beginning.

But, just like all fun, it does have to come to an end at some point. For the past two days, Desiree and Hermione had been readying themselves for Harry's pick up. Ginny told everyone many times how badly she wanted to come along. Moody warned everyone in the Order that there was a high chance someone would be there to try intercepting Harry. That would be the real danger in the mission.

"Desiree," Ginny grabbed hold of Desiree's arm, stopping her from walking towards the Order members in the living room.

"Yes?" she asked, pulling her eyebrows into a line out of confusion.

"I want you to know that Harry felt terrible about what he said to you that night of the party. He's been meaning to apologize for a long time now, but, you know him, he's stubborn. Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is. . . bring him home to me," Ginny said with pleading eyes. Ginny was never one to want to express much emotion, so when she did, she really meant it.

Desiree let a grin escape her lips while her hand found Ginny's cheek, "I will try my hardest."

With one last nod from Ginny, Desiree made her way into the living room with the rest of the Order. Well, the part that would be partaking in this task. This included Lupin and Tonks, she appeared to be glowing, Bill and Fleur, who seemed to be bouncing with the anticipation of their wedding in a few short days, Desiree's Parents, Fred, George, Ron, and Hermione, who had been off in conversation on their own, Mr. Weasely, Kingsley, Moody, and finally, Mundungus. If anything were to go wrong, it would most likely be because of Mundungus.

"Right everyone, remember if someone is killed we keep moving," Moody nodded aggressively. "Now, let's get going, we're wasting precious time."

With this, everyone walked outside of the Burrow, quickly mounting their brooms or whatever they would be riding to Privet Drive, in Bill's case it was a Thestral. With Moody's final signal, everyone went soaring into the air, leaving the Burrow far behind them. If the ride hadn't been ridden with the anxiety and the fear that someone could get hurt or worse murdered, the ride would have been enjoyable. The wind whipped past them as they whirled in and out of the clouds. It reminded Desiree of her ride to Headquarters some years ago. That special feeling of freedom as the warm summer air kissed her cheeks, it felt freeing.

But, that feeling of freedom was short-lived as everyone approached Number Four Privet Drive. In what seemed like seconds, they were touching the ground, meticulously entering the house as to not draw much attention to the large group.

"Harry!" Desiree and Hermione said in a relieved yet excited tone. The girls quickly threw their arms around him. Though she had spent so long being mad at him, she was relieved to see he was safe. Everything that went on with their fight seemed more of a childish issue now.

The others were soon to follow, well Ron and Lupin were. Everyone else merely did a short handshake or wave before taking their places around the room, Desiree stood between Hermione and the twins. Ron stood on the other side of Hermione. Their feelings for each other were painfully obvious, they were just denying it.
