A/N: Hi everyone! I just wanted to bring your attention to the cover change! This is my favorite so far and is likely the one that is going to stay! Also, I just wanted to thank you all for reading and I hope you enjoy the rest of this fic!

Whatever Draco did on his walk seemed to help. He wasn't as distant with Desiree after. She was grateful for this, yet she wished he would just talk to her. Or at least let her be there for him like he was for her when Cedric died.

She now sat in the Great Hall, eating lunch while reading through her potions book.

"You would be the one to read during lunch," Draco chuckled, sitting down across from her.

"Well, I have to keep my reputation as a potions connoisseur up somehow," she giggled, looking up to him.

"Well, I can help you with that," he grinned, snatching the book from her hands before walking away from the table.

"Draco, give me my book back!" she called after him.

"You're going to have to come to get it from me if you really want it," he grinned, walking out of the Great Hall and through the corridors.

"Draco, I'm serious," she giggled. Though she really wanted her book back, it felt nice to see the side of Draco she had when he stayed at the Alcyone Estate again.

Draco abruptly stopped as he reached a seemingly empty corridor. Desiree practically fell over him before his hands grabbed her hips, pushing her against the wall with a grin.

"Draco, what are you doing?" A giggled escaped her lips as she reached for her book.

"Skip class with me," he grinned, pulling the book just out of Desiree's reach.

"What?" she moved her eyes up to his.

"Skip class with me," he grinned again, his eyes fell to her lips before looking back into hers. "Come on, one class won't hurt."

"Give me one good reason why I should listen to you," a grin began to spread on her lips. His eyes fell to her lips once more before he connected his lips to hers. The kiss was sweet, yet passionate. His tongue traced her bottom lip before he gently bit her lip.

"Still need a reason?" he smirked.

"Just give me my book and let's go," she giggled, snatching her book from Draco's hand.

"Wow, I've actually managed to convince Desiree Alcyone to skip class," he gloated sarcastically.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, loverboy. I have double study hall today," she laughed, picking up her pace as they ran towards the common room.

Once inside the now deserted common room, Desiree felt Draco's hands firmly grasp her waist, turning her body into him.

"It appears we're alone," he smirked.

"Appears we are," she smirked back, her arms wrapped around his neck as their lips connected. "Now, I must say, I have yet to see your dorm this year," she teased, biting her lip as she looked into his eyes.

"Oh, I would just hate for you to be deprived of its excellence," he grinned, his hand hastily swooping below her knees. "Ready?"

"I would greatly appreciate seeing its excellence," she grinned, wrapping her arms around his neck as he carried her bridal style to his dorm.

His room was quite dark, much darker than Desiree's was, but, was just about the same size as hers. He had his own wardrobe, desk, bedside table, and, of course, bed. His bed was draped with similar emerald fabric to Desiree's.
