"Okay tell me one more time how you saved...you know." said Desiree to Harry, indicating she was talking about Sirius.

"Desiree we've told you three times already." Hermione laughed.

"I know but it's such a crazy story." said Desiree with a little chuckle.

"The point is that both of them are safe now," said Harry.

"Hey, I'll talk to you later. I have to get to my table," said Desiree as she waved goodbye to her friends and walked over to the Slytherin table.

Just as she sat down she heard Blaise talking, "Did you hear that Sirius Black escaped again? Apparently he was captured here in the castle and when the dementors went to get him, he was gone."

"No I didn't," said Pansy. "Desiree did you?"

"I've heard bits and pieces," she said as she gave a quick look back to Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

"And don't forget that animal that attacked me somehow escaped as well," said Draco.

"Maybe that just tells you it had no reason to be executed in the first place," Desiree said as she looked to Draco.

"It attacked me!" said Draco, turning his head to face Draco.

"Only because you provoked it," said Desiree. Pansy and Blaise began laughing after she said this.

"What's so funny?" asked Draco.

"The two of you fight like an old married couple," said Pansy.

Desiree and Draco both gave Pansy the same look before they said, "Don't say that."

"It was a joke, relax," laughed Pansy.

"Wait, Draco, shouldn't you be sitting with Emma?" asked Desiree.

Draco seemed to sit up straight, "Well, she wanted to sit with her friends and I wanted to sit with mine. So we just decided to sit apart tonight," said Draco as he moved his eyes from Pansy and Blaise to Desiree.

"Oh, alright," said Desiree.

As the feast carried on the four friends sat, talking about anything and everything there was to talk about. To Desiree this felt like one of the first times that her and Draco had actually been as close as they had been in the past years, besides the nights in the library.

The next morning Desiree walked to the train station with Pansy, Blaise, and Draco, Emma stood at Draco's side as well. Desiree actually kind of liked Emma, she was nice sometimes, others she would be quite cold to Desiree, but Draco hadn't known that.

"Hey I'm going to sit with Cedric, don't be strangers this summer," said Desiree as she hugged each of her friends.

"It's not me you have to worry about becoming strangers it's them," Pansy laughed as she pointed to Blaise and Draco.

"I'll see you guys later," Desiree smiled as she boarded the train and began to look for the compartment where Cedric sat. "There you are," she smiled after finding him in a lone compartment.

"I was wondering when you'd find me," he smiled as Desiree sat beside him.

"I had to say goodbye to Pansy, Blaise and Draco before I came and found you," said Desiree.

"Oh right, Draco," said Cedric as he slightly squirmed in his seat.

"What's wrong?" asked Desiree, looking to him.

"Nothing, it's fine. You're with me and that's all that matters," said Cedric.

The couple sat and talked for most of the train ride, admiring the views given by the Hogwarts Express. Without even realizing it, Desiree had fallen asleep on Cedric's shoulder.

Cedric began to nudge Desiree, "Desiree, we're here," he said in a slight whisper.

"Hm?" she asked as she sat up and looked out of the window. "Oh," she said watching as the train pulled into King's Cross station. As the two walked off the train, they stopped on the platform not far from the door.

"I can't believe I won't be able to see you whenever I want for a over month," said Desiree, looking into Cedric's eyes.

"Well at least you'll be able to see me when we go to the Quidditch World Cup together," he smiled.

"I suppose you're right," she smiled before Cedric leaned in to kiss her.

Just as the two of them finished their kiss, Draco walked off of the train. Desiree looked to him before she pulled back from Cedric, back to her normal stance.

"I think my parents are that way if you want to say hello," said Desiree, pointing to the direction in which she had just seen her parents.

"I'd love to but my father has to return to the Ministry soon so I really have to go. Tell them I said hello, and I'll see you at the cup. Be sure to write me," said Cedric as he began to walk over to his parents in the opposite direction of Desiree's.

"I will," Desiree smiled before she turned and began to walk to her parents. Just as she was about to make it to her parents, she saw Draco with his mother and father. She gave a quick smile to him, as if to say goodbye, and continued walking.

"Oh darling there you are, your father and I were looking for you," said Mrs. Alcyone.

"I was saying goodbye to Cedric," said Desiree with a smile.

"Oh where is he? We were looking forward to finally meeting him," said Mrs. Alcyone.

"He said his father had to return to the Ministry soon so he had to leave in a hurry. But, he did tell me to tell you both that he says hello," said Desiree.

"Oh that's okay, I know the demands of the Ministry, and if he's anything like his father he is a fine young man," Mr. Alcyone smiled. "Now, are we ready to go?"

"Ready," Desiree nodded. The family of three then walked out of Kings Cross Station together for the start of Desiree's summer.
