Desiree awoke that next Saturday morning with a rush of excitement, today would be her first visit to Hogsmeade. Desiree quickly got dressed into the outfit she laid out the previous night, a black sweater and jeans with the necklace she was given her first year, the necklace she had worn everyday since she had gotten it. She now made her way down to the common room where she found Pansy sitting with Blaise.

"Oh wow she's actually on time for something." laughed Blaise.

"Very funny." said Desiree, rolling her eyes as she smiled.

"I do my best." he laughed.

"So, are we ready?" asked Desiree.

"We're just waiting on Draco." said Pansy. "Well speak of the Devil, there he is."

Draco now emerged from the stairs and into the room, "Are you three talking about me?"

"Just the good parts." Desiree said sarcastically.

"What?" asked Draco confused.

"Nothing it was a joke. Now come on it's time to go." said Desiree, now walking out of the common room with her friends.

The walk to Hogsmeade was filled with excitement and conversation amongst the four friends as the cold air nipped their faces.

"Can we go in Honeydukes? please?" asked Desiree as the group entered the small village.

"Oh alright. As long as I don't see Pottah." said Draco.

"He's not even coming, relax." said Desiree, practically dragging Draco over to the candy store.

As the four children walked in a sudden warmth hit their faces, as well as the smell of the hundreds of sweets lined up on the shelves. A smile grew on each of their faces as they turned to look at eachother, even Draco had a small smile on his face. They each broke off into pairs as they searched the sweets shop, Draco with Blaise, and Desiree with Pansy.

"Pansy." whispered Desiree.

"Yes?" she said back.

"I have to tell you something." said Desiree.

"What is it?" asked Pansy.

"Cedric asked me if he could take me to The Three Broomsticks later today." Desiree said in a hushed whisper.

"Really? That's wonderful!" smiled Pansy.

"So you aren't mad that I have to leave you early?" asked Desiree.

"No of course not. Now if it was Draco that might be a different story." laughed Pansy. "Wait so how did it happen?"

"It was after dinner that day we learned about the Boggart, when he stopped me in the corridor." Desiree began, "He asked if I was alright because I looked upset over dinner, and after I told him I'd be alright he asked me to come here with him. But I told him I promised you I'd come with you so we just agreed to go to The Three Broomsticks together."

"Are you mad?" asked Pansy.

"What do you mean?" asked Desiree, confused.

"You should have just come with him. I would have understood." said Pansy.

"Well now I know for next time." laughed Desiree.

"Yeah and there better be a next time." said Pansy, pointing her finger to Desiree in a warning way.

"I need your help though." said Desiree, now picking up a few chocolate frogs.

"With what?" asked Pansy.
