Desiree returned to the castle just as dinner began, her arm linked around Cedric's. She searched the great hall for her friends. They were sitting where they always sat, right in the middle of the Slytherin table.

"I should probably go sit with them. I'm sure Pansy is dying to know what happened today." said Desiree, turning to face Cedric.

"That does sound like her." Cedric laughed. "I'll see you later."

Desiree smiled at Cedric before she turned to walk towards her friends.

"Oh finally, I've been waiting for you for hours!" said Pansy.

"When she says hours she really means hours." said Blaise, his eyes wide.

"Oh stop." Pansy rolled her eyes as she gave Blaise a slight nudge. "So tell me everything." she smiled.

"Well we went to The Three Broomsticks to get Butterbeer obviously." Desiree smiled, "We talked there for nearly two hours. We hadn't realized the time was moving that fast. But anyway after that we went to the bookstore on the corner and I got that book I've been talking about, you know the muggle one."

"Only you would enjoy reading in your free time." said Draco.

"Actually there are plenty of people that like to read in their free time, thank you." said Desiree sarcastically. "And I'll have you know that Cedric actually asked me about the book I picked up rather than making a sly comment about it." she said looking to Draco.

"You always have to bring Diggory into the conversation don't you?" snarled Draco, looking to Pansy before he stood up and walked away.

"I'll go talk to him." said Blaise.

"How did I get blamed for this?" asked Pansy.

"He'll calm down. He's probably just in one of his moods." said Desiree.

"Yeah let's hope it blows over soon. He's been like that since we left Zonko's." said Pansy, as the two girls began to make their way down to the common room. That was until they were met by a group of Slytherin's practically running back towards the great hall.

"Woah what's going on?" asked Desiree as she saw Blaise and Draco rushing towards them.

"Sirius Black is loose in the castle! We have to hurry!" said Blaise, dragging Pansy back to the great hall.

"What?" asked Desiree in disbelief.

"We'll explain it later, now come on!" said Draco, grabbing hold of Desiree's hand as he to dragged her toward the great hall.

Desiree now sat in Defense Against the Dark Arts, next to Draco like usual.

All of the sudden, Snape burst through the door and began to close the windows as he walked by them. "Turn to page three hundred ninety-four." he said in his typical monotone voice.

"Excuse me sir. Where's Professor Lupin?" asked Harry.

"That's not really your concern is it Potter? Your Professor finds himself incapable of teaching at the present time. Turn to page three hundred ninety-four." Snape said turning the projector on.

"Werewolves?" Ron said confused as he finally flipped to the page.

"But sir we've just begun learning about red caps and inky punks. We're not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks." said Hermione.

"Quiet." said Snape, now walking toward the front of the classroom.

"Which one of you can tell me the difference between an Animagus and a Werewolf?" Snape asked pacing the front of the room. "No one, how disappointing."
