Hi everyone! I just wanted to pop on here and let you know that I have changed how I title each chapter. The first number you see will tell you what year you are in and the second number will be the chapter number! I hope you continue to enjoy this story!!

-----------------

Desiree woke up excited for the day. Today was the first quidditch match of the year, Slytherin vs. Gryffindor. She threw on her robes and her Slytherin scarf because it had started to get quite cold.

"Desiree are you ready? I want to get good seats." Pansy asked as she was about to walk out of their dorm.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," Desiree said as she ran from the other side of the bed. "Right well now we need to find Malfoy," Desiree said as she and Pansy scanned the common room for the sassy little blonde boy.

"My name was called," Malfoy said with his typical evil smirk.

"Are you coming with us to the quidditch match or are you waiting for Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum," Desiree said with a slight smirk. She didn't really like Crabbe and Goyle that much, only because they always had to be by Malfoy's side.

"Nice one," Pansy said as she was laughing.

"Their names are Crabbe and Goyle for your information, but no I won't be going with them," Malfoy said with a slight attitude.

"I know what their names are. I just don't care." Desiree said with a slight smirk.

"Well come on you two. I want to get a good seat." Pansy said as she pulled Desiree and Malfoy out of the common room.

"See this is why I wanted to leave the common room earlier...now look at where we have to sit," Pansy said in a bummed out tone.

"Would you relax we can still see the entire quidditch pitch?" Malfoy said looking past Desiree who was sitting in between him and Pansy.

By now the Slytherin team had flown out and around the pitch. The Slytherin stands erupted in cheers. The game quickly began.

"How is Gryffindor already winning? It's only been ten minutes" Pansy said in slight disgust.

"They're obviously cheating." Malfoy rolled his eyes.

"Oh, would you two give it a rest?" Desiree said hitting each of their arms.

"Look Pottah's going to fall off his broom!" Draco laughed "Maybe they should have given it a second thought before letting him be the new seeker."

Desiree looked over to Ron and Hermione that were in the stands across from her. She saw Hermione walk towards the teachers.

"Someone's jinxing the broom, you idiot." Desiree snapped.

"Oh yeah and how would you know that?" Draco said while making a confused face.

"If you actually paid attention to anything other than yourself or making fun of Harry you'd see that a certain teacher is looking very suspicious," Desiree said as she pointed to the teachers' stands.

By now the teachers were distracted by a fire that had appeared. Desiree knew this was the brilliant work of Hermione. Harry had now been able to get back on his broom.

"Look Harry's about to be sick," Pansy said as she pointed to Harry on the ground.

"Harry Potter has caught the snitch 150 points for Gryffindor." Lee Jordan yelled across the quidditch pitch.

A sigh came out of the Slytherin stands, as they had just lost the first quidditch match of the season. Nonetheless, everyone made their way back into the castle where it was warm. As for Desiree, she went to the library to study for an upcoming potions test.

It had been about two hours in the library when "There you are. What are you doing?" Draco said as he walked in front of where Desiree was sitting.

"I'm studying obviously," Desiree said quickly looking up to Draco and then looking back down to her book.

"Why? You're one of the smartest people in our year." He asked with a confused look yet again.

"Because one can always improve on skills. Now are you going to study with me or are you going to keep bothering me?" she said now glaring at Draco from the top of the book.

"I suppose a little studying won't hurt," Draco said as he sat down.

The pair then studied for the next few hours. They seemed to be able to talk about almost anything you could think of. Though Desiree would never let him know she thought of Malfoy as her closest friend in and outside of Hogwarts.
