"So let me get this straight, you willingly went into the forest...at night...just the three of you?" Pansy asked as she and Desiree were making their way to Potions.

"Yes, but, I will never be doing that again. It nearly gave me a heart attack." Desiree laughed.

"Never say never." said Draco, as he randomly entered the conversation.

"You don't even know what we're talking about." said Pansy.

"You're talking about Desiree going into the forest with Pottah." he gleamed, "If she continues to be friends with them I'm sure they will drag her into all sorts of things like that."

"If I can have your attention please." Snape called out, "Today you all will be studying for your upcoming Potions exam. I expect that you all will use your time wisely." he said looking over to Ron and Harry.

Desiree, like many others, picked up her book and began studying. This went on for some time until she saw Draco slide her a piece of paper. She opened the note to read:

What are you doing?

"I'm studying. What does it look like I'm doing?" whispered Desiree. Draco simply held his finger up to his mouth, then continued to tap the paper. Indicating that Desiree needed to write what she's going to say. He quickly scribbled another note:

Why are you studying though? You're already the best potion maker in here, especially with Granger gone.

Desiree gleamed at Draco after she read this until she wrote back:

Well, if you must know. It never hurts to study even if you already know the material well. And I did not appreciate the comment you made about Hermione.

Draco simply scoffed at the note. Desiree then returned to studying in peace for the rest of class. As Desiree and Draco were about to leave Snape called them over to his desk.

"Ms. Alcyone, Mr. Malfoy, I expect there to be no more note passing in my class. I also expect the two of you to do well on the examination. Understood?" he said looking up from the parchment he was grading.

"Yes sir." they both said at the same time.

"You are dismissed." Snape said looking back down at the parchment.

After leaving the dungeons, Desiree began to walk around the castle, trying to find Harry and Ron. Then, after searching for nearly twenty minutes, she found them walking into Lockhart's office.

"Here we go." she whispered to herself before walking into the office. "What is going on?" Desiree said as she looked at the nearly empty office.

"Lockhart is trying to leave, that's what's going on." Harry snapped.

"I always knew you were a coward." Desiree said pulling her wand out, just as Harry had. "All the things you've claimed to have done, they're fake."

"My darling girl, they aren't fake. No, no, no." He laughed, "You see, all I did was track these people down and use a simply memory charm. I do say that I pride myself on memory charms." He said looking around his office. "Well, that looks like everything. Only one thing left to do." said Lockhart, raising his wand.

Harry and Desiree seemed to have the same idea, for they both shouted, "Expelliarmus!" at the same time.

Lockhart's wand flew backwards, out of his hand. "What do you want me to do? I don't know where the Chamber is." Lockhart said in a panicked tone.
