Desiree awoke to feel the warmth of the sun gently warming her cheek. She felt Draco's arm holding her shoulder as he laid flat on the bed. As sun bounced off of his exposed chest, rising and falling with his breathing, Desiree began to remember the events from the night before. A grin began to form on her face, her cheeks flushing, she was happy.

Just as she slowly tried to crawl out of bed without waking Draco, she felt his hand grasp her waist. "Hey, where are you going?" His voice was raspy from sleep.

"I was going to get dressed," she grinned, turning back to him.

"Why don't you stay here for a while?" he grinned, opening his arms for her to crawl in.

She playfully rolled her eyes at him with a smirk before crawling back up next to him.

"So, what do you want to do today?" he asked, gently stroking her arm.

"I don't know," she placed her head on her hands as they sat on his chest. "I figured we could figure it out over breakfast."

"Ooo, breakfast sounds nice," he grinned.

"Well, we have to get out of bed to get it," she giggled, hoisting herself onto her elbows.

"Oh fine, we can go downstairs to get breakfast," he chuckled.

"Good, I'm starving. I'll meet you in the kitchen. I have to brush my teeth and stuff before I get down there," she said, wrapping the silk sheet around her as she stood from the bed.

"I'll see you down there," he grinned, watching her pick up her black swimsuit from the floor.

With this, Desiree quickly darted across the hall to her room, hoping her parents didn't see her. If they were back yet, she didn't know. She dropped the sheet around her body once walking into the bathroom. She quickly jumped into the shower, making sure to wash the chlorine out of her hair from the pool. She went ahead and in her skincare in the shower as well.

After getting out of the shower, Desiree brushed her teeth and walked to her closet. Once inside, she picked out a pair of comfy sleep shorts and one of Draco's jumpers she had stolen. It wasn't until she began to walk out of her closet that she realized her legs were incredibly sore, aching as she walked in fact.

She quickly, well as quickly as she could, but quietly walked down the stairs and towards the kitchen. But, before walking into the kitchen, she heard Draco speaking with her mother.

"Mrs. Alcyone?" he said.

"Yes, dear?" she asked.

"Can I ask you something?" he asked nervously.

"Anything," she said.

"Well, I suppose it's not really a question. Sometimes I worry that I may have pushed Ally into being with me before she was able to get over losing Cedric. I hope I haven't because words can't express the way I love your daughter. She's helped me through so much. I suppose the way I helped her through the loss of him. She's everything and the only thing I want. But, what if I'm just a place filler for her?" his tone turned sad. Hearing his question almost tore Desiree to pieces. Did he really feel that way?

"My dear," Mrs. Alcyone began. "I assure you that you are not a place filler for my daughter. I think, and this may sound terrible, but I think she loved you well before Cedric was taken from her. Even when she was grieving the loss of him, her face would light up at even the mention of you. I've never seen her so happy. You are no place filler. You are the place. I'm going to share something with you that my mother once told me after I met Desiree's father," she paused. "She said, 'we spend most of our lives preparing for the perfect life, with the perfect job, and the perfect home. But, those who find their home within someone will always have more prosperity. For, they would forever be happy as long as their partner is by their side. Because that was their home.' Draco darling, she's found her home within you."
