NOTHING FEELS THE SAME

Chapter 13

Sam woke up the next morning with something hard pressing into the back of her thigh. She quietly turned over and looked down. Gary was hard. She looked up to him, he was sound asleep, finally. He had his mouth slightly ajar and was softly snoring. He looked so cute.

She just watched him sleep, he looked so peaceful. He didn't look like that most of the time anymore. Gary was still pressing into her and she thought about giving him a nice surprise to wake up to. But then she remembered the last time he woke up hard. She didn't want a repeat of that.

Sam was pulled out of her thoughts when whimpers started to escape Gary's mouth. She tried to soothe him without waking him. She rubbed his back and played with the stubble on his face, it was getting quiet long again, she made a mental note to tell him to trim it. 

A tear escaped his closed eyes and she felt him soften against her. Disaster narrowly averted. Gary started to make louder noises, and started mumbling "Nooooo, plz, doooon" Sam saw beads of sweat beginning to form at his hairline. She had to wake him up, "Gary!" He sat bolt upright screaming, throwing the duvet off, hitting Sam in the face.

She grabbed her face where Gary's fist connected with it, yep that's going to leave a bruise. Gary looked around the room blankly, tears were flowing down his face, but he didn't even notice. His eyes fixed on Sam, she was holding her face and it looked like she was crying. "Sam! are you okay? What happened?!" "What happened? Gary you hit me!" she laughed through her tears. 

"Oh my god Sam im sooo sorry, I didn't know i did it, Sam im soooooo sorry, please don't leave me!" "Leave you!? Don't be stupid i know you did't mean to do it! Come here you silly git" she pulled him into a tight hug where he sobbed on her shoulder for a good 10 minutes.

When the shaking and sobbing died down Sam broke the silence "What was your nightmare about Gary?" She didn't expect him to tell her, but he took a deep shaky breath and started "It happened again, It started out as a nice dream, you and I were in bed and we were trying to make a baby, we actually had a reason to have sex." Sam was shocked "Do you want kids Gary?" "yeh, course. Anyway, there was a crash downstairs, we just thought it was the dog. We had a dog called Cookie, guess i must of chose the name...... So we kept at it then someone came in the door to our room and- and k-kicked me off you. I was about to get up when someone grabbed me from behind." he sniffed "They did it to us both Sam" 

2 hours Later

Gary was in Rob's studio with the boys. Sam and Chloe were having a deep girl conversation the the bedroom, "And then he looked at me and i saw no recognition in hie eyes, and he didn't even realise he hit me, he doesn't see how bad he is Chloe, he wont listen to me!" Sam cried into Chloe's lap as Chloe drew circles in her back, "Sam, shhhhh, its alright let it all out" "Did you know i heard it all happen on the phone!? I'm scarred Chloe, and sooo scared, but i cant let Gary know! He'll think its all his fault and I don't know what he will do" She mumbled in Chloe's jeans.

"Gaz! This track is ace man!" Robbie lept up from his seat, reaching over to pat him on the back. Mark was sitting on the sofa, pen and pad in hand, humming the tune and scribbling down words. Howard and Jason were standing up, prancing around. it looked like they were making up a dance routine already. "Do you really think so? Or are you just saying that to make me feel better?" Gary got up and walked out of the studio, muttering something about needing to pee.

He walked past the room Sam and Chloe were in, the door was slightly open and he thought he  heard crying. He popped his head around the corner and was stunned at what he saw. His fiance was crying her heart out to her best friend and he didn't know why "What happened!" He demanded to known as he rushed to her side.
