3 days later

It had been a week since anyone had heard anything from Marjorie. Sam had been released from hospital, and Gary was back at work with the lads. He still had Nichols following him around, even though Gary got one of the security guys from the Take That tours to look after him.

They were in a little studio in the heart of London. Rob was in a different room recording some vocals with Jason and Howard. Gary was tucked away in a corner on the piano while Mark stood beside him offering his input. "Gaz your phones ringing mate" Mark walked over to the collection of phones and threw Gary his.

Gary looked down at the caller ID. "Sorry Mark, I gotta take this" he answered the phone as he got up and left the room. "Hello" "Gary it's me, I need you at the hospital right one" it was the one and only DCI Leslie. "What, why?" "Gary, we've got your mother." "What! Oh my god is she okay!?" "She's fine, just get here now, she wants you." Gary hung up and ran back inside the studio.

"Whoa Gaz, what's up mate?" Robbie asked as he bumped into Gary. "They've found mum!" He called as he ran back to Mark, grabbed his coat, laptop and keys then ran out to his car, both Nichols and his security guard following closely.

They were a bit down the road when Gary threw his phone in the back "One of you call Sam and tell her to meet me at the hospital" he saw them exchange glances in the mirror "Please?" He added.

As Gary reached the door he saw Sam standing with Leslie. "Where is she? Is she okay?" "She's going to be fine Gary, she's a little bruised and battered and a bit malnourished but she's going to be just fine" Leslie told him. "Can I see her?" Leslie nodded and motioned for him to follow.

"Gary.." A weak voice called. "Mum!" Gary called and sprinted to her. She was sitting upright in bed and Gary pulled her into a tight hug. "I'm so soo sorry, this is all my fault. I thought I'd gotten you killed" he started to cry into her shoulder. "Shhhhh, it's not your fault. I'd never blame you. I'm just glad all three of us are alright" she soothed Gary. "All four of us" Sam walked up behind Gary and put her hand on his shoulder. "I'm pregnant Marjorie" Sam told her. Gary looked up at her and smiled before wrapping himself back around his mother. "I-I'm going to have a grandchild?" She asked. "You sure are, I think it's going to be a boy" "Your wrong Sam, it's going to be a girl" Gary's muffled voice called from the bed. Sam shook her head then leaned down and joined in with the hug.

Everything was starting to look like it should. A family.
