NOTHING FEELS THE SAME

Chapter 79

"Thanks mate" Gary slapped Robbie's shoulder as he handed Gary a backpack. "Mate, do you wanna tell me anything?" Rob asked, raising his eyebrow. "There's nothing to tell Rob, I know you already know" Gary sighed. "But I'd like to hear it form you, come on Gaz. You told Mark, I'm not going to go tell the world!" Robbie argued. "It's not that" Gary looked down. "Then what is it?" Robbie asked, kneeling in front of Gary. "I'm ashamed Rob, embarrassed by it. I just can't tell you right now" Gary leaned down, resting his head on Robbie's shoulder. "It's okay, come here" Robbie stood up and pulled Gary into a man hug. "You don't have to stay here, go back and look after Chloe" Gary pulled back and smiled. "Na mate she's here. 12 week scan today" Robbie grinned form ear to ear. "Oh good luck with that" Gary smiled leaning over to watch Lily sleep.

"What!?" Gary was pulled out of his sleep by panicked voices around him. He sat up and fumbled around for Lily. "Relax Gary" Ellie pushed him back down. "What's happening?" He slurred. "Sams awake" she said. Gary looked over to see Sam being helped by a lot of doctors. She looked weak, and tired if you'd believe that. She's been in a coma like state for a few days. "Where's Lily?" Gary asked searching the room for the crying baby he could hear. "With a nurse, I'll just get her" Ellie went over and got her the nurse followed too. "She needs feeding, I'll go fix you up some formula" the nurse said handing Lily to Gary.

"Hey any word from Rob?" Gary asked Ellie as he held the bottle to Lily's small lips. "You weren't asleep that long, they only just went in for the scan" She said. "Oh" Gary mumbled, concentrating on Lily. "I need to ask you something Gary" Ellie turned serious. "Hmm" Gary moaned. "There was a bag beside you that Robbie bought in. The nurses told me to unpack it cos they thought it was full of clothes" Ellie trailed off and Gary shot his head up to look at her. "I'm sorry Gary" She barely whispered. He looked slightly red in the face but nodded his head. "It's okay" he told her, taking the bottle away from Lily's face.

"Oh my god Gaz you'll never guess what's happened!" Robbie yelled excitedly as he walked in the room pulling Chloe behind him. "Oh" he bit back his words as he saw Sam sitting up with Gary helping her hold Lily. "Your awake Sam!" Chloe screamed ecstatically. "Wow, not so loud" Sam said. "What happened Rob? You having twins?" Gary snickered. "Better than that Gaz, were having fuckin triplets!" Robbie announced.
