2 weeks later

Gary, Sam, Chloe and Robbie were sat around a table at the local Starbucks. "It's so good to get out of the house" Gary sighed as he took a sip of his coffee. "You mean so good the get away from Ellie for a bit?" Chloe laughed. "Hey I'm right here!" She pitched from the table behind them.

"So while we're here, we thought we'd tell you something" Rob took hold of Chloe's hand. "I'm pregnant!" Chloe screamed. "Awwww, congratulations!!!" Sam and Gary chirped, leaning over the table to hug them. "Ewww, is that what the noise above me is at night!? I think I'm going to be sick!" Ellie got up from her table and headed for the door. "Ill be back" she called. When they were back in their seats they gave each other a look followed by a high 5.

"What are we missing here?" Rob raised his eyebrow and looked at Sam and Gary with a questioning expression. "Guessed it" Sam smiled. "Is it twins?" Gary asked. "We don't know yet, it's too early," Chloe told him "Why, did you guess that too?" She smiled. "Yup, weeks ago!" Gary laughed. "Do you really do it to creep Ellie out?" Sam asked. "Ewww, no way! Just let her think that" Rom smiled.

Right on cue she walked back in the door, "Speak of the devil" Gary snickered. "Where have you been?" Gary asked in a fatherly tone. "Checking the perimeter, 'dad'" she shot him a look. "Ellie, what happened to your parents?" Gary asked as she sat down. "Err," her eyes scanned around the room for a way out "Hey, that cake looks good. How bout I go get you some?" She stood up and tried to rush past Gary but he caught her arm and pulled her onto his lap. "Really, where are they. What do they think of you doing this?" Gary's tone softened. "They umm" she bit her lip. "They're dead"
