...I have a strange but reasonable excuse.

Long story short, having medical issues and a high chance of mental issues if what the doctor said was true (yay!). Due to the medical and mental issues, I’ve been struggling with remembering things.

To the point of, if something is not said over and over or a note really obvious is in front of me, I will forget to do whatever needs to be done. Take the whole ‘out of sight, out of mind’ saying and times it by 100. That’s how bad my memory is.

Now, I have notifications off with Wattpad, and for a while I forgot it even existed. Until I was deleting apps on my phone and I saw it buried in the middle of a group. ‘Oh! I haven’t been on here for a while, ha ha!’ I think, as I click on the app.

And then a comment in my notifications section, just posted not too long ago on the ‘latest’ chapter caught my attention, and suddenly I remembered. I have a book. I forgot about my own story I was writing. So I screamed into a pillow, contemplated my existence, thanked the commenter, and began writing this.

You know what, times the saying by 500. Seems reasonable. So ya...sorry I died for a while. Haven’t abandoned this. If for some god awful reason I did, I would tell you, and offer up the chance for someone to finish, or just post the ending I have written up. With a notice that it was the ending and I was done writing this story. Then have some background to the ending since well, lots of you will be out for my blood! :> So, here is a slightly rushed chapter.

Probably would have been done sooner, but one of those ‘issues’ (the ‘’ since I don’t really see it as an issue) is a high probability of me having ADHD or Autism. My brain is a never ending stream of words, so I got distracted looking up ancient magic and witch hunts and stuff like that. I’m going to stop typing now, since I completely derailed from the original purpose of this text. I’m not going to edit it, to show you a mild version of what my thinking is like. Oh! But I wanna know something, since I read something and now I am curious.

One, can you achieve silence, like no thoughts at all, and two, how do you think? Is it like a stream of words or is it just like pictures and images or maybe a mixture. Since I found out that apparently not everyone daydreams the same. Is not just creating a book in your head, but more of imagining something with pictures?

...I’m going to stop. As I said, I usually edit these, but have fun with a calm version of my mind 24/7.

Ryan felt like one of those kids that was awkwardly watching their sibling be reprimanded. Just the awkward standing off the side as he watched, unsure of exactly what to do. Where you want to look at your phone (Do those even work here?) but it would seem to be inconsiderate and even more awkward, or leave, but you really couldn’t find a way to properly back out of the situation. Trapped with no choices, you just end up standing there, shifting side to side, praying to any deity (there has to be something like that here, right?) for an escape.

They were quickly dragged off of the training grounds to where the King was to discuss something... after they fixed the minor fires around the place and the occasional out-of-place shadow. Ryan, at first, was hesitant to use the Runes, since the whole glowy eye thing that he forgot to ask Slade about...only to find out that it was a common side effect for dual users.

It was just more prominent on Ryan due to the color his Runes together gives off and the natural color of his eyes.

He is 100% not going to tell Slade the reason why they fell through the semi-unstable portal because it wasn't that a fun thing to find out about. The whole situation could have been avoided had Ryan join in the first few classes at the beginning of the year.
