After dinner, the group left, each splitting off to go to different places. Matt, Lexi, and Tori went off to hang out at Lexi's dorm, while Tony, Tina, and Ryan went off to Ryan's dorm, wanting to talk and catch up.
"So, spill. What happened last year?" Tina pipped up once they were inside the dorm.
Ryan merely groaned and ran a hand down his face. "That bad?" Tony asked.
"Ya." Ryan walked into the kitchen, and began to search through the cupboards. Tina and Tony to a seat at the table, watching his scope though the cupboards. "So, where do you-Why is there a pig in your dorm?" Tony's tone quickly changed upon seeing the pink pig lay there, watching them.
Mr. Oinkers raised his head, hearing the conversation turn to him. "Are you really questioning it?" Ryan spoke. "Found it!"
He pulled out a tea box, and quickly opened it. Both siblings sighed, but weren't surprised. "Hey!" Ryan pointed the box at them, like it was a weapon. Then again, in Ryan's hands, anything could be a weapon. "Tea is amazing!"
"You have a problem." Tina commented.
"No I don't!"
"Yes you do." Tony interrupted. He actually wanted to bring this conversation back to where it should have gone. "Now, what happened first year."
Picking up a tea kettle that sat on the counter, Ryan began. "So, like you guys at first. When I first came to Life Academy, I didn't know about the Runes."
He began filling the pot with water, and turned on the stove.
"I found out after getting a little too curious. Some guy accidentally activated his Runes in the bathroom. Tori and I went to explore, even though Matt highly went against it. In the end we 'found' the lab."
"The place we were just at?" Tony asked.
"Yep." Ryan popped the 'P', and sat the full kettle on the stove.
"We discover the entrance, and were wondering whether if we should go in, when Slade materialized behind us."
He went to the table and pulled a seat out. "They explained the situation to us, and was planning on figuring out what we had. A whole night later, tada! We found out what we had. I accidentally set fire to the lab floor a bit after and passed out during the explanation though, so that was fun."
"That-" Tony blinked. "What?"
Ryan merely shrugged. "It happens a lot more than I continue, so get use to it."
"Great." Tina mumbled. "Because we should be totally fine with you passing out randomly."
"It's not random. Just after I use my Runes a ton."
"Even better."
"So," Ryan continued. "A little backstory is needed before I continue. So, you may have noticed that not many people particularly trust/like me."
Tina and Tony looked at him. "What did you do?" They both said.
"Hey! I didn't do anything! Actually, that's a lie, but some of it isn't my fault!"
Both of them gave him deadpanned looks.
"Seriously guys! Anyways, the last fire user, he, uh..." Ryan trailed of, trying to word it. "He might have killed a few people before going all suicidal."
"What!" Tina exploded, standing up. Her chair skidded back, nearly falling over. "And they're judging you because of that idiot's mistakes! Those idiotic idiots! That's so-"
