One thing Ryan realized as he showed the Shadow Academy kids around, was that Cory and Adam were probably the most normal. That itself is a red flag. One who wore a mask of a camera lens all the time, and one who called gold 'butter' wasn't normal. Compared to the rest of the other Shadow Academy kids though, they were.
It went unspoken between Gizzy and Ryan though as they showed their two friends and the rest around. Simple glances and raised eyebrows at the cold and emotionless responsive they received. If they weren't emotionless, they were annoyed or had all out hatred against Life Academy students.
Ryan sighed, running a hand down his face. "I forgot how much I hated crowds." He groaned.
The three friends surrounding laughed, which didn't help that much. They sat at a table in the Cafe, since after Ryan and Gizzy finished showing everyone around, Cory was hungry.
Though he was always hungry, so Ryan wasn't sure why he was surprised.
"You seriously hate crowds?" Cory pointed his slice of pizza at Ryan.
"The dude probably gets lost in them." Adam joked.
Grabbing the nearest item, which happened to be a fork, Ryan pointed it at Adam. "Say that again and I will stab you; don't tempt me."
Adam merely stuck out his tongue, which gave Gizzy enough time to step in. He pushed Ryan's fork down, and shook his head. "Guys! Come on, be nice."
"I deal with Tina, Matt, and Lexi on a daily basis, I don't do nice."
"No, you're just feisty." Cory spoke.
Gizzy took Ryan's fork before it became a murder weapon. Gizzy knew Ryan was right. He saw Tina, Matt, Lexi, and Ryan train for the competition, and to say the least, he was scared. Ryan, he at least could predict some patterns Ryan had, the others....
Well, Gizzy hopes he gets paired with them rather than against.
"So when should the others be here?" Adam asked.
Ryan and Gizzy shrugged. "Soon I think." Ryan replied. "I think Tina and Tori were in charge of showing Terra around, while Matt and Lexi have Sky."
"Who?" The two Shadow Academy kids spoke in unison.
"Friends of mine." Ryan dismissed it with a wave.
"Don't make Tina mad if you want to live." Gizzy warned them. "She can be...uh..."
"Insane, Sociopath, crazy, chaotic?" Ryan supplied.
"I thought you guys were friends?" Cory's eyes widened.
"Oh we are!" Ryan chirped.
"Can't wait to meet her." Adam smiled. "I've dealt with stranger before."
"We all have!" Gizzy replied. "Adam has those weird roommates, Cory can eat a buffet out and still be hungry, Ryan is...well, that list is too long, and I've fought a demon. What can you do?"
"Hey! The strangest one I can say is Ross."
"I am not that hungry!"
"Really? I didn't even get a reason?"
Gizzy snorted at the offended looks that he received, before they all broke out in soft laughter. "Your humor is strange, I have to point that out." Adam pointed out. "All the weird fantasy stuff you say."
Gizzy merely hummed, taking a bite of his food. "So, are you guys excited?"
"Hell ya!" Adam cheered. "No offence, but I got this in the bag!"
