Edit: I accidentally typed the wrong chapter number, that's all. Also, who is reading this that's not in America?
Matt's POV
It's nice to now when your injured, your true friends will make fun of you. "Seriously? A hole?" Ryan shook his head in disbelief.
"Well I'm sorry!" I replied, my tone dripping sarcasm. "I really wanted to trip in that hole!"
"I know. It's just weird, usually I'm the one injured."
"Ya, well, don't get use to it. I would rather have neither one of us hurt."
"Same. No you just get to deal with the girls."
I felt the blood in my face drain out. "Oh no."
"Yep! Have fun!"
It was a slow process to the nurse's office, with me limping and all. A yelp escaped my lips when I put too much weight on it. "Ow." I whined out.
"I can pick you up if you want." Ryan commented.
Ya right. I weight like 170 pounds (77.11 kg), and like nearly a foot taller than him.
"Ya right. Dude, I'm a foot taller than you almost, you're tiny."
"I am not small!" He huffed out.
"Sure. Is it why it's so awkward walking like this with our height difference?"
"I'm not small." He grumbled under his breath.
I was thankful that the hallways are clear. It was in the middle of the class period, everyone should be in class right now, so we had a clear shot. Plus, no one could tell Lexi or Tori that I injured myself accidentally.
A yelp escaped my lips again. Why must the height difference be so much! Curse you Ryan and your 5 feet (1.52 meters) structure!
"Okay, that's it." Ryan spoke up.
What's- WHAT THE HELL!
In a quick few movements, Ryan managed to get behind me and picked me up bridal style.
What. The. Hell. Ryan!
"I got tired of hearing you yelping."
Whoops, I said that out loud.
"Yes you did."
"Damn it!" I cursed under my breath, and struggled to get out of his arms.
"You're not escaping."
"Yes I will!"
"I can drop you if you wish."
I froze. "You wouldn't."
"I would."
We walked up to the nurse's office, and Ryan suddenly half-way dropped me. "What the hell dude! Nearly gave me a heart attack!"
"You'll live."
Then, in seconds, we were in the position we were in before he picked me up. My arm over his shoulder, as he took some of my weight.
"Why?"
"Do you really want me to carry you in?"
"Jeez, when did you get so sassy."
"Ever since Jacob-" He froze. "Never mind."
Who is Jacob?
"Who's-"
"No one important." He snapped before I could finish.
He huffed, before looking down, ignoring my gaze.
