Chapter 21: Discovery

I can't believe you told them.

I'm hungry and tired, somehow, Anti. Screw off!

Why are you tired? You were out the whole day! Lazy.

I was stuck in a night terror.

So?

I'm heading to my dorm, eating something, and going to sleep. All while ignoring You.

It was dark out already, and after I answered a few of their questions, not all, I quickly sped out of there. I wasn't in the mood at all to talk to people. They're too nosy for their own good sometimes.

"Why didn't you just give them your backpack Ryan!" Tina yelled suddenly, her eyes were wide. In surprise or fear, I have no clue.

I shrugged, too surprised at her sudden outburst. It went from Tori being too shocked to say a full sentence, to Tina know yelling at me. "It was mine?"

"So you decided getting stabbed was the best option!" Tina slammed her hands on the table and stood up. Her chair flew back and tipped over, slamming down on the tiled floor with a crack.

The poor chair-What did it do to her?

"Hey! I tried to run!" I didn't want to get stabbed! Jeez Tina!

"Why didn't you tell us then? Finding about it now is not a great thing Ryan!"

"I couldn't call you guys!" Another lie. Unicorn got a call from you after it happened.

"WHY? Is asking the hospital to call some of your friends so hard!"

I stood up to at least be close to her height. "Who said anything about a hospital?!"

I'd rather die than be forced into another foster house. Like that helped anything though.

"What?" A soft-spoken voice broke though.

I didn't even realize Tina and I were yelling...

We all turned to the voice. Tori sat there, her eyes wide, like everyone else. They look scared. It probably doesn't help I still have my Runes on either...

"What- What do you- You didn't go to- to a hospital?"

Vent, please just fall open. Please.

Your luck sucks. I doubt it would open no matter what you did.

For once, I agree. I'm not using the vent though.

"Nope. Not doing this." Before they could realize what I meant, I was by the door and out.

I'm hungry, tired, and want to punch something. Why can they just assume they can butt in my past! I want it buried and gone! Is that so much to ask for!

Tomorrow's going to be awkward. I'm probably going to just eat breakfast in my dorm. Great, I probably just ruined my only friendships at this school. Tori, Matt, and Lexi are going to be pissed at me just up and running, and Tina. Well, I'll just say I'm glad Luke took her lightsaber away awhile back.
