"I ordered Ibrahim to start with the documents needed for the hospice and in no time we will start searching for a place to build it in" Suleiman informed me as we cuddled on his couch.

"I hope everything goes smoothly" I mumbled in his chest. He rubbed up and down my arm as I spoke.

"I hope so too

"I hope so too. Don't forget what you promised Qamar" Suleiman reminded. I pulled away from him smiling and placed my hand on his cheek rubbing the apple of his cheek.

"I will not meet any men unless necessary and even then you will be present and I will be behind a folding screen" I reassured. He pulled me closer and kissed me on my lips.

"I must go, the children are waiting for me" I mumbled pulling away from him but not too much. I could still feel his lips brush against mine every few seconds.

"Go" he muttered. We both sat there for a second before I kissed his lips one more time before finally willing myself to get up and leave.

When I walked out of the corridor that led to the room I saw Bali Bey stood along with two guards who immediately bowed to me when stepped out.

"Sultanim" Bali Bey acknowledged me bowing to me.

"Bali Bey, how are you today?" I asked kindly turning to face him.

"I am fine Sultanim" he answered. As usual, his answer was short and dry.

"Have a good day, keeper of the privy chamber" I left him standing in the corridor, and continued my journey to the harem.

I stepped down the one step and stopped in front of the harem. The chatter stopped as they turned to me and bowed. I could see a couple of them crying making me worry. I walked over to Daye Hatun who bowed as I stepped in front of her.

"What is the matter Hatun?" I asked glancing at the girls whipping their tears.

"Sultanzade Mehmed son of Hatice Sultan has passed to the afterlife," she said gloomily. I felt horrible as the thought of what Hatice must be going through went through my mind making me shiver.

I stepped out of the harem and went straight to my room. I changed into darker attire, not quite black but dark enough for times like this. It was a child who was less than a year old after all that passed and no black clothes were required.

I walked into Hatice's palace where everyone already was except Suleiman who probably was just informed like myself. I understood that they didn't tell us sooner, we were together through the night and the rest of the morning and they didn't want to disturb us.

"Sultanim, I have just been informed of the tragedy. My condolences" I bowed to the Valide Sultan who seemed to be trying as hard as she can not to burst out crying.

"Thank you Qamar" she nodded her head at me. I walked over to where Hürrem sat and sat down beside her. The Valide was sat in the middle with Gülfem beside her while Mahidevran sat on the couch facing me and Hürrem.
