"Congratulations Sultanim" I smiled and nodded at the maids who bowed passing around sherbet and lokmat. I took one and took a bite of it favoring the taste of sugar craving it more than ever.

"Qamar, congratulations I heard the news" I turned to look at Hurrem as the maids bowed again to her. Mehmed was standing beside her looking at the lokmat with a small smile. I took the bowel and crouched down in front of the small prince.

"Mehmed, take this bowel and go to Osman, he misses you and wants to play with you" Mehmed took the bowel with a grin before running towards my bigger chamber where Osman was.

"I wanted ask if you would like to come with me to Hatice Sultan's castle," Hurrem said as I stood up, I understood what she wanted, she wanted to return the book and cause a distraction.

"I would love to, let me get my headscarf" I walked back to my room where Rosie was with Ayse and Abdullah. She helped me put on my headscarf before tending back to the children, I know she was against this alliance but it must go on for my children, they say keep your friends close and enemies closer.

I got out of the carriage first followed by Hurrem making Nigar Kalfa and the aghas at the door bow to us. Nigar stepped closer to us and bowed again. I could feel Nilufer following closely behind us with the sweets in hand.

"Sultanas, welcome," Nigar said with a soft smile on her face. I didn't dislike her but I didn't like her either she always had stricken me as someone unreliable.

"Is Hatice Sultan inside?" Hurrem asked fixing her hair that was swaying slightly like mine because of the wind.

"No, she is in the yard" Nigar answered eyeing the plate in Nilufer's hand.

"Sweets for the Sultana, we found out I was pregnant yet again last night," I said pushing the covers up to show Hatice Sultan's, favorite sweets.

"Mash'Allah Sultanim, may Allah protect all of His Majesty's children," Nigar said earning amens from me and Hurrem.

"Is Ibrahim Pasha in the palace?" I asked noticing the guards that usually accompanied him were stood like walls beside the doors with their backs to us.

"Yes, her majesty was feeling a little nauseous this morning and felt a little pain" Nigar answered looking between me and Hurrem.

"How is she now?" Hurrem asked genuinely worried. I liked Hatice she was nice, a bit spoiled but nice, she lost her child during the attack and now she was more careful than ever with this pregnancy in fear of losing the child.

"She is better but Pasha refuses to leave her side" Nigar answered. I nodded at Nilufer to go inside with the sweets and the book. She bowed and walked in with us following behind, she went to the kitchen and we went to the yard where Hatice Sultan was with Ibrahim pasha.

"Sultanim, Pasham" I and Hurrem walked over to the sitting area and bowed to Hatice Sultan, Hurrem had to bow to Ibrahim Pasha unlike me since she was of lower status while I was of higher being Suleiman's wife.

"Sultanim we just heard you felt ill, how are you now?" Hurrem asked without waiting a second. I looked at her with an amused smile before turning to Hatice again who seemed annoyed with her question, they're probably fussing over her too much.

"I felt a little bad since yesterday, I'm afraid something will happen to my baby," Hatice said a little worriedly. Ibrahim clicked his tongue earning our attention.

"Sultanim, the physician examined you and said everything is okay," He said trying to calm her down.

"Anyhow, Qamar I heard of your pregnancy, congratulations," Hatice said turning to look at me. I bowed with a smile on my face.
