"What?!" I yelled standing up feeling my heart beat faster than it ever has before. I could barely breathe as I leaned against Rosie who wrapped her arms around me to keep me steady.

"We don't have any more information and all we can do I pray for the sultan's safety after that attack," Nigar Kalfa said. A tear slid down my face as I lost all feeling in my legs and sat back down on the couch pulling Rosie down with me.

"He's alive" I muttered looking up at her and wiping the tear off my cheek. She gave me a sad smile as they watched me pull myself together and stand back up.

"Suleiman is alive and he will come back victorious," I said strongly just as the doors opened the Hatice sultan walked in followed by Gulfem. I bowed to her keeping my head low trying to compose myself.

"Sit down Qamar, it's not healthy to be distressed while pregnant, calm yourself," Hatice sultan said walking over to me and pushing me down on the couch.

"Sultanim, Suleiman is alive, tell her to stop putting dark thoughts in my head" I begged glaring up at Nigar Kalfa who I felt was actually trying to make me feel sad and very distressed.

"Nigar Kalfa go check on Hurrem, she just fainted" Hatice sultan ordered. Nigar Kalfa bowed before leaving us alone.

"You should pray for the sultan Qamar" she advised. I nodded my head before looking up as Mahidevran sultan walked in with a sad face on. She walked over and sat down beside Hatice sultan. I knew how sad she was to be here in a favorite's room.

We all jumped as the doors burst open making us snap our heads up and look as the Valide almost ran in. We all got up and bowed to her as she smiled at us, how could she smile right now?

"We just got news! The sultan is alive and well" I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding as tears of relief filled my eyes but I held them back not wanting to cry in front of anyone if I did they will all think I'm weak and no matter what the situation was I will not cry in front of anyone.

"Where's Hurrem Hatun?" The Valide asked looking between us seeing the lack of people in here.

"She fainted and bled a little" Hatice sultan answered her mother.

"Allah, come Daye we have to check up on her," she said walking out of the room.

"Do you think Ibrahim is alright?" Hatice asked turning to Gulfem. I raised my eyebrow and looked at her for a second before it clicked and I let out a dramatic gasp. She turned around to look at me as if she had forgotten about me for a second and she har a look of horror on her face.

"Do not worry sultana, your secret is safe with me as it is safe with Mahidevran and Gulfem" I reassured giving her a weak smile.

"I trust you Qamar so don't break that," she said before leaving the room with the other two women trailing behind her.

I finally let my guard down and leaned against the wall as I let some of the tears leave my eyes. Suleiman was alright and he will come back to us soon victorious as ever.

"I miss you my love" I whispered as if he could hear me from so far away with seas and mountains between us

"I miss you my love" I whispered as if he could hear me from so far away with seas and mountains between us. I looked up and out of the window at the beautiful weather outside that now resembled my relieved mood.

As the months passed by my stomach grew larger in size faster than I could recall. Hurrem gave birth in the middle of our prayers to the sultan and gave the dynasty a beautiful baby girl that was named Mihrimah. She was a cute little thing with the most beautiful eyes ever.

"Hatun you have to push" the midwife instructed from between my legs.

"Is Suleiman in the castle" I asked Rosie who nodded her head at me. Just after I went into labor we got the news that the sultan will be arriving today and much earlier than expected, and that was hours ago.

I let out an ear-piercing scream as I pushed as hard as my body could. I have to birth this baby or I don't think I will survive another hour of this pain anymore.

"That's it Hatun" the midwife encouraged me. I took a deep breath before pushing again with as much strength as I could master with a lot of screaming and groaning until it all fell silent.

I was worried for a second but the cries of my baby reassured me that all was well and nothing wrong happened.

"It's a beautiful baby boy," the midwife said handing me the baby. I held him close to me feeling so many emotions push through to me making me more emotional than ever and I burst out crying as he calmed down in my arms.

"Come on let's clean you two up to welcome the sultan," Nigar Kalfa said stepping closer to take the baby but I pulled back not letting her touch him.

"Hatun give me the baby," she said glaring down at me but I just shook my head and handed him to Rosie who gave a stern look to not give to anyone at all.

They helped me out of the bed and gave me a quick bath before returning me to my now clean room. As the months went by the Valide ordered Sumbul to give me my own room and he did and it was an amazing room big enough to fit me and my maids and baby now and hopefully many more to come.

I laid back down in bed and leaned back against the pillows finally having a moment to relax and relish what was happening around me. Rosie walked back in with a cleaned baby who was flailing around his arms excitedly as if he could sense he was near his mother.

She leaned down and handed him to me gently before stepping to the side beside the bed. I looked down at the baby finally having a moment to memorize how he looked with his cute nose and small hands. I looked up as the doors opened to show Suleiman and his Valide followed by Hatice sultan and Gulfem. Suleiman walked over to my side and leaned down the railing of the bed and placed his lips on my forehead giving me a gentle kiss.

"Forgive me, your majesty, for not being there at you welcoming," I said smiling up at him while he only chuckled.

"I can forgive your reasons," he said placing his palm on our son's head running his thumb in circles over his small forehead which seemed to calm him down as he slowly fell asleep.
