Living a normal life was now impossible to Lily after being kidnapped by the tatters. She was stolen off of the boat that was supposed to take her to England to study from the White Sea after visiting her family that lived in Egypt because of her fa...
"Is there any news on Mustafa?" I asked Hundi as I put on my jewelry for the day. Thankfully my wound had finally healed and I can walk freely now however the wound in my heart for my unborn child will never heal or be filled. Hürrem was doing much better and her face was starting to heal more and more from the burns. She told me she had a plan to get rid of Mustafa but she never told me what it was claiming that she wanted to keep it a surprise.
"He is still refusing to go with his majesty to the Friday prayer" Hundi answered as she read through some papers for the hospice. She had taken full responsibility for it since I got wounded.
"He's making his own mistakes, he doesn't even need us to make them for him" I chuckled shaking my head. The doors to my room opened and Osman stepped into the room with a bright look on his face.
"My son, come here" I pulled my eleven years old almost twelve in for a hug. He hugged me back with a smile.
"What got you to smile so bright in the morning?" I asked caressing his cheek.
"Because my teacher is visiting Baba today and he promised to tell him how well I've been studying" Osman answered. The way Osman looked and talked made him look like an adult almost, it made me miss when he was just a baby.
"That's my lion" I patted his shoulder. Osman blushed from the compliment and looked down shyly at the floor.
"Mother, can I request something?" Osman asked. Hundi stood up from the couch and left the room to give us some privacy when she noticed Osman eyeing her.
"Anything, my son" I pulled him to sit on the couch where Hundi sat earlier. I took a seat beside him and listened to him.
"I want to spend the day with you, it's been very long since we spend time together alone without my other siblings," Osman asked pouting. It broke my heart that Osman thought he needed to request time from me to spend it with me.
"Of course darling. How about you go visit your grandmother until I finish what I have in between my hands then I'll come and take you so we can spend time together?" I suggested. Osman jumped up from the couch and hugged me tightly. He ran out of the room making me chuckle.
However, my smile got wiped off my face and I turned to the letter beside the books Hundi was looking through. I pulled the letter towards me and removed the leather-bound around the paper and unrolled it. I already knew who this letter was from, she is the only one who uses the seal on the wax holding the leather-bound around the letter.
I have to admit Qamar, I actually did feel a little sad when I heard about your injury and I am glad that you are alright now however my heart aches for my nephew that never got to see the daylight.
Now back to business, have you spoken with my brother about Hürrem? I want that woman out of the capital and if you can get her killed then I will be even happier. She is like a snake that slithered into the family, just like you but you are under my control so there is a difference.
I want that Russian witch either banished or killed. I will give you three months to finish this mission otherwise you can pray over the soul of your sister Elizabeth. I warned you Qamar, get rid of that woman before I kill your sisters and you before killing her myself. However, if you succeed then I will let your sisters return to you and I will keep this a secret between us until Allah takes me.

I gulped as I read through her words. What was I supposed to do? How will I keep my sisters alive and Hürrem at the same time, I can't kill her she's my friend. What if I could save my sisters before Sahihuban Sultan can hurt them? How? I can't show Suleiman this letter otherwise I will show that I've been working with Sahihuban Sultan this whole time and I don't think he'll ever forgive me for this mistake.
"What should I do?" I whispered feeling tears build up in my eyes. My heart broke over the fact that I may have to actually end the life of my dearest friend for the sake of my sisters.
I need to be strong and I need to do what is right. Two innocent souls should not be hurt for friendship. They were my sisters, my blood and they deserve to live. However, Mehmed, Mihrimah, Selim, Beyazid, and Cihangir deserve their mother too. I stood up from the couch and made my way towards the fireplace and threw the letter in the burning fire.
I felt conflicted on what to do but I knew that family always comes first. From this day forth Hürrem was my enemy and I have to end her for my sisters to live and return to me. However, I will avenge Hürrem and I will also kill Sahihuban sultan but one after the other. I will make Sahihuban Sultan suffer before I end her life and I will make sure she doesn't live one happy day for the rest of her miserable life.
"Forgive me Hürrem, for innocents to live soiled souls have to die" I whispered with tears in my eyes. I took a deep breath before I turned to the mirror and fixed the way I looked in the mirror. I can't let the harem and my son see me so sad and hurting, the Valide Sultan can not see me like this otherwise she will think I'm weak and she'll be able to walk over me but she was wrong and I will prove that to the whole world. I am Haseki Qamar sultan and my job is not only to bring heirs but to also ensure their survival and ascendance on the Othman Throne and I swear it will happen even if it was the last thing I do.
