"Sultanim, Mahidevran Sultan is at the door" Rosie's words made me turn to her confused. Since when did Mahidevran visit me? What did she want from me? Of course nothing good.

"Let her in" I ordered. I turned back to the papers in front of me and continued reading before stamping on the still hot and wet wax. I handed the paper to Mal who held a couple of other papers, all changes to the harem.

"Sultana, welcome to my chamber" I stood up from the couch and moved to stand in front of Mahidevran who was eyeing my stamp behind me with a sad glare on her face.

"I came to check on you, my condolences, Qamar" Mahidevran nodded her head. It didn't feel like her words were coming from her heart.

"Thank you" I nodded my head. The doors to my room opened and Hatice walked in. Hatice's smile whipped off her face when she saw Mahidevran in front of me. It seems something happened between the two of them while Mahidevran was trying to convince Hatice to not divorce Ibrahim and turn Hatice to her side.

"Mahidevran, you can return to your chambers Hatice Sultan ordered glaring at Mahidevran. I raised an eyebrow confused as Mahidevran complied without a question and left my room with a frown.

"What happened Sultana?" I asked my only true friend. Hatice sighed and made her way to the couch and sat down on it.

"She's been trying to convince me to help her convince Mustafa to give her back the rule of the harem" Hatice hissed angrily. I sat down beside her feeling my blood boil with anger. How dare she ask for such a thing? She wasn't only removed from her position but Suleiman said she would never return to it after she put the harem in debt. I was still struggling to fix what she ruined in the harem and I'm paying the wages from my own personal salary which was a little hard with the hospice still working.

"Why? I mean she almost ruined the harem with debts" I asked raising an eyebrow. Of course, Mahidevran couldn't be that stupid to think the harem will be given to her on a silver platter. However what caught my attention was that Hatice Sultan said Mustafa needed convincing meaning he hasn't agreed to give his mother back the harem, why?

"She's saying that you are not emotionally stable after what happened to rule the harem," Hatice sultan said. My heart clenched at the reminder of my despair. Working made me forget for a little while and took my mind off it however it was impossible to forget your child and I never will. Ibrahim took one from me and now that midwife took another one from me. Instead of having ten children only eight of them are by my side and I am beyond grateful for them but my heart ached for the two who are not by my side.

"Have you decided what to do with Ibrahim pasha?" I asked changing the subject. I couldn't take it anymore speaking of my stillborn child. It was all still very new and fresh.

"No, I am still thinking" Hatice Sultan answered looking at her fingers with sadness. The doors to my room opened before I could conceal her and Halil walked in with a golden letter holder.

"Sultanim, his majesty's mail arrived" Halil informed me excitedly. I held out my hand feeling a smile itch itself on my face. I couldn't wait any longer to open it. I ripped over the golden holder and threw it to the side the second I pulled the letter out. I rolled it open and began reading.

My dear moon I have missed you dearly during this campaign. You are the only thing on my mind and I am very worried about you. When I left you were still mourning and I hope by now you are feeling better. I know it's hard to lose a child but this was the Will of Allah and we can't change anything about it, instead, we can pray and keep our child in our hearts.

I have decided that your chamber shall be given to Osman to live in alone. I know this decision should be yours since you are in charge of the harem but I see that it is fitting that Osman moves to your chamber and Mehmed to Mustafa's old chamber. You, however, will move to the Valide wing, you deserve it my moon and when I return I want to find you in the Valide Wing.
