CHAPTER 001

"Let go of me!" I ordered struggling against the man that just bought me. He was a very old man that could fit as my grandfather yet here he is as my owner, the glint of lust in his eyes made me fear for my life even more.

"You think after I got such a yummy meal I will leave it just like that?" He asked smirking at me showing his rotten teeth that made me want to throw up right there and then.

A very fancy looking carriage stopped beside us making the man stop in his track and look at who got out of it, it was a man not older than 30 wearing fancy clothes, he walked over to us stopping in front of the man holding a bag.

"How much is she?" He asked looking at me, I could see how his eyes softened when he saw my pleading eyes and the tears stains on my cheeks.

"Who is buying her?" The old man asked smiling wickedly showing his disgusting teeth again as he pulled the rope on my hands more making me stumble a little.

"The castle," he said making my eyes widen in shock, the castle as in the carriage there is royalty right now?

"50 golden pieces," the man said almost doubling the amount he paid to get me. The man in the fancy clothes gave him the whole bag before snatching my rope from the man.

"Here's a hundred, now leave," he said glaring at the man. The man almost drooled over the bag as he walked away counting the money.

"Don't worry, you're safe now" he said kindly untying my ropes before leading me to the carriage. He opened the doors and bowed, I did the same without seeing who was in it if he bowed then I have to bow too, he was obviously of higher statues than me now.

"Sultana here she is," he said looking up, I too looked up to see the most beautiful women in my life one was older than the other probably her mother.

"Get her in Sunbul," the older one said. The Sunbul guy held my arm as he helped me climb into the carriage, I sat beside the younger woman right in front of the older one, I looked down at my hands too scared to look up.

"The poor thing, what did they do to you?" The younger girl asked pushing a stray hair out of my face and behind my ear only to see the fresh tears of relief leaving my eyes.

"Thank you so much for saving me from the old man, I don't know how to repay you" I muttered quietly not looking up as even more tears left my eyes.

"You'll see when we get to the castle," the older woman said as the carriage took off toward the castle I assume.

It didn't take longer than fifteen minutes to reach the castle, I got out of the carriage last and was immediately taken to the hmam where a doctor checked me up before I took a shower and was taken to the harem.

"Here you will sleep with the rest of the girls and we will teach you everything in the next two days so you can catch up with the rest of the girls," Sunbul Agha said pointing to where the mattresses and pillows were and to the apparently only space empty in here.

"Thank you Sunbul agha" I muttered quietly looking down at my fingers.

"Don't thank me I did nothing" he said patting my shoulder before leaving as the girls got ready for bed. After everyone was done I walked last and took the only mattress left and pillow and walked over to the place assigned for me, I rolled the mattress open before placing the pillow over it, I walked to where the blankets were and took one before going back to my bed and laying down.

"Pst" I turned around to see the girl lying beside me smiling brightly at me.

"I'm Rosie, what's your name?" She asked quietly trying not to get caught talking when we're supposed to be asleep.

"I'm Lily" I whispered quietly smiling a little at the nice girl.

"Nice to meet you Lily, goodnight," she said before turning around and pulling the covers over her head.

Now what? What do I do? How do I live? Am I supposed to serve them here? Or was I here for a reason? I can't wait for tomorrow so I can get my answers.
