AN: No, my period isn't over but I only have the rest of the month as a holiday before college starts and I get too busy. And yes I go to college but I'm not telling you my specific age. A little warning, this has Shinran since neither he nor Irene realized their feelings for each other yet and he still likes Ran. Now let's start!

Narrator pov. At a store~

It was Christmas eve and there were decorations inside the store with Christmas music playing. Suzuki, Mouri, Edogawa, and Irene were standing inside leaning on the wall since they didn't really need to buy anything. 

Suzuki sighed and said, "Even though it's Christmas, why am I with you guys?" Edogawa thought in annoyance 'I should be the one asking that.' while Irene was too busy admiring the decorations since she wasn't allowed outside at Christmas before.

Then Suzuki asked, "Oh yeah, where's Shinichi-kun?" which caught the shrunken duo's attention and Mouri answered, "He calls once in a blue moon and that's it." that made Suzuki annoyed and she exclaimed "What a horrible guy! Christmas comes only once a year! That detective nerd is just trying to look cool."

Mouri replied "You're right. He always acts so confidently. He's stuck up and always mean to me. Despite that, he has his good points." Edogawa thought 'Ran...' before Mouri changed the subject "Anyways Sonoko, is there a guy whom you like?" 

(Isn't true love when you accept all of the person's traits even the flaws and love them instead of getting annoyed by them? You don't truly love someone completely if you get annoyed by their flaws and even complain about them instead of just loving them and seeing them as another part that makes that person special. And yet she's complaining, I mean really?)

Suzuki answered "Of course there is. His name is Kimura Tatsuya." Mouri repeated in confusion "Tatsuya?" then Suzuki elaborated "Ya know, that totally popular rock band, Lex! It's Ki-mu-ra Ta-tsu-ya!" Edogawa thought 'Sheesh, it's just some famous singer.' 

Suzuki continued "I used my father's connections to join them at their post-concert party. This means that I can meet Tatsuya in person! Ran, wanna come with me?" Mouri got excited and replied, "We get to meet Tatsuya?!"

Edogawa thought in annoyance 'You're just so cool, Miss Daughter of the Suzuki Cooperation, aren't you?' while Irene didn't really care much about famous bands since she stopped seeing any boys she didn't know for a while as handsome after her third heartbreak, not even celebrity boys are that cool in her opinion.

Mouri asked excitedly "Ne, ne, when is it?" Suzuki answered, "It's next Sunday." that made Mouri more excited and she said "I wanna go! I wanna go!" which made Irene and Edogawa ask if they can come to which Mouri said yes before Suzuki could refuse.
