Narrator pov. At the wedding~

Today was the wedding of Mouri and Kudo's middle school homeroom teacher, Matsumoto-san. Edogawa didn't come to celebrate though. He just wanted to see the face of the quote 'Crazy guy who'd actually marry that woman' and unquote but Irene came since she never really got to attend a wedding before.

"Matsumoto-sensei... We haven't seen her since we graduated." Mouri said in a nostalgic tone then Suzuki said "We might be able to hear her beautiful singing again at the reception!" before she remembered something "Oh yeah, where's that guy? Remember? He was never in tune during music class and Matsumoto-sensei was always at him."

Mouri realized who she's talking about and answered "Oh if you're talking about Shinichi, he said on the phone that there's no way he'd come." which made Suzuki reply "So instead of that toneless guy, you brought those little kids?" while pointing down at the shrunken duo.

Mouri knelt down and put a hand on each of their shoulders before answering "Un. They said that they really wanted to come." Edogawa thought angrily 'Don't call me toneless! For 3 years, that teacher had singled me out and terrorized me!' while Irene thought 'I don't think he's actually toneless... there's a reason why he makes it sound like it.' she didn't know what it was though but she didn't want to pressure him with answering.

They went inside the building and arrived at the bride's room and got in only to see a beautiful brunette in a white wedding dress. She looked up and noticed them then said "Why it's Mouri-san and Suzuki-san!" 3 of the newly arrived guests were speechless while Irene was smiling sadly, knowing that there's no chance that would be her in a wedding dress one day.

(Oh, I wouldn't count on that Irene-chan! Right, Corene/Shinkura shippers?~)

Matsumoto asked, "Well, how does it look?" which snapped the 2 girls out of their trance and they answered "I-It's beautiful, sensei!" Edogawa who was blushing at the beauty thought 'T-They're right.' then the 2 girls explained the reason Kudo isn't coming to their former teacher.

Matsumoto's reply was "So Kudo-kun couldn't make it today?" she snapped her fingers while she continued "I wanted to show off this dress to that cheeky little punk." that made Edogawa look annoyed while thinking 'She hasn't changed a bit!' and that was when Matsumoto noticed him and Irene.

She said "Huh?" when she looked at Edogawa before coming towards him and leaning her face close to his while asking "Boya, have we met before?" and he replied "Nope!" and then "Alright, both of you look this way!" came from Mouri who was holding a camera.
