Narrator pov. At Teitan Elementary~

The shrunken duo entered their class and sat at their seats in time to hear Ayumi tell the rest of the detective boys "Ne, did you hear, did you hear? There's going to be a transfer student today in this class!"

Genta exclaimed, "Really?!" then Mitsuhiko said, "We haven't had a new transfer student since Conan-kun." then Ayumi said, "I wonder what the person's like." then Genta added, "I hope she's cute." to which Mitsuhiko replied, "No, no, whether it's a boy or a girl, personality comes first."

Ayumi then called, "Ne, Conan-kun." which caught his attention and she asked, "What kind of a person do you think this kid is like?" Edogawa answered, "Who knows, he might be a nerdy, boring kid." which made Ayumi say "So you're saying that it's a boy?" before she turned to Irene and asked, "What about you Irene-chan?"

Irene thought about it before answering "It's probably a girl who likes to hide her feelings from everyone." which made Ayumi nod in understanding before Genta asked, "Ayumi, didn't you see that kid in the teacher's lounge?"

Ayumi answered, "Un, I asked the name. They said it's Haibara." Genta was confused "Haibara?" Ayumi replied, "Yeah, Hai from Gray and Hara from Harrapa's Hara." Mitsuhiko commented, "That's a unique name."

Genta added, "Demo, I guess it's better than Conan." Edogawa thought 'Leave me alone...' while Irene just smiled slightly. The sound of the class's door being held was heard which made Ayumi exclaim "She's here, she's here!" before the door was slid open.
