Narrator pov. On the way to the park~

The detective boys were now walking to the park with Edogawa holding a soccer ball as they were going to play soccer since it was a weekend and they had nothing else to do. Genta exclaimed, "We'll definitely beat you, girls, this time!" determinedly.

Ever since Haibara joined the group, whenever the detective boys split into teams for soccer, it was girls vs boys as they had an even amount of each one. 

Mitsuhiko nodded in agreement before Haibara smirked and replied, "Yeah right, keep dreaming." Ayumi agreed, "Yeah! As long as we have Irene-chan on our team, you can't beat us!"  

Irene blushed in embarrassment and said, "You guys..." but they didn't seem to hear her as Mitsuhiko exclaimed, "Well Conan-kun is the one who taught her soccer and he's on our team so we're gonna win!" which started an argument about which team was better between them.

The shrunken duo looked at each other and sighed before they smiled helplessly and chuckled. Honestly, when it comes to soccer, their friends can be pretty competitive but it's not like they could blame them.

Irene was going to try and calm them down again when she suddenly got a feeling that someone was in trouble. She never knew how she could do that even back as Rose, sensing when there was a person in need without even seeing or hearing them coming. Miyuki called it her "Angel sense" but she didn't believe it, not until she heard Lucifer call her by that name as well.

She stopped walking and looked behind her which caught Edogawa's attention "What's wrong?" she mumbled, "Someone's in trouble." Edogawa blinked before he asked, "Angel sense?" she nodded before she ran off to where she felt the person was with Edogawa and the others following.

They ran for a few minutes before they stopped at an alleyway just in time to hear someone sniffling, the voice sounded familiar to Irene as she walked closer to see the person. She immediately recognized the little girl on the other side of the alleyway "Mia-chan?"

Indeed, it was Mia, the little girl she gave her stuffed kitten to so she could cheer her up back at Tropical Land. Mia looked up at being called before she recognized Irene as well "Oneechan!" she stood up and ran to her as she held her tightly and buried her face in her chest "I'm so sorry!"
