Narrator POV~At the Mouri detective agency~

When they reached the agency Mouri said "This is my home. It feels like I've got myself, 2 little siblings. I feel like I can tell you guys anything." which led to Kudo's guilt forcing him to say "Ran. The truth is...-" before he could say it, Kogoro rushed down the stairs and crashed on the ground.

Luckily Irene was already out of the way before he ran down so she wasn't hurt. When Kogoro stood up again he said "I've got a job! The first job in six months!" while waving his hand to call for a taxi which led to him almost getting run over by one.

That's why Mouri said "Mou that's dangerous! What kind of job?" Kogoro answered the question with "A Company president's daughter was kidnapped! By a man in black!" cue Kudo getting the wrong idea and rushing in the taxi which led to Mouri and Irene following him.

"Why are you here!?" exclaimed Kogoro in annoyance and anger which Mouri answered with "Because this boy rushed here" Kudo remembering to act said "A car! A car! Wai!" which led Kogoro to notice him and Irene who was sitting on Mouri's lap and he said "Who is that guy?" pointing at Edogawa.

'Huh. I guess since I didn't bother him yet he's not gonna ask about me' Irene thought while Mouri answered the question "He's one of Agasa-Hakase's relatives." which made Kogoro say "You're not coming with me! Get out of the car!" Mouri replied with "We can't we're on the highway!" which led to Kogoro grumbling in defeat and the rest of the ride was silent.

Time skip to when they reached the Tani house (Brought to you by Vermouth's disguising skills)~ 

When they reached the house they met up with president Tani and his butler Aso.
