Narrator pov. At the cinema~

Irene was waiting for Edogawa outside in front of the poster for the new Sherlock Holmes movie they were going to watch, it was a little cold. He was the one who heard about it and invited her to come to watch with him which she excitedly agreed to since she is also a Sherlockian.

When Ai heard about it, she called it a date which Irene denied since the only reason she was invited was that she was also a Sherlockian, she was pretty sure Kudo would've gone alone if it weren't for that.

But he was getting late, the movie was gonna start in 15 minutes, but she didn't blame him, his parents were staying in Japan and after their little (Udohisashi couple) act, they moved out of the little house back to the Kudo's for the rest of their week here and Yukiko probably snatched him while he was on the way here.

(Hint to which episode happened before this, by the way.)

He's probably even trying to get out of there and come to where she was but without any way to explain where he needed to go to his parents, that doesn't involve exposing her, they probably aren't gonna let him leave.

She decided to confirm her theory by using the link and asked '{Kudo-kun? Where are you? The movie's starting in 15, 14 minutes now.}' the immediate answer was '[Eh?! Already?! Warii, Kaasan caught me on the way and dragged me to our house so now I'm stuck there since I don't know what to say to get out that won't expose you. I think Tousan is suspicious of me now from my last excuse.]'

She sighed 'Yapari...' she thought up something before she replied, '{I have an idea. Here's an excuse you can use...}' before she told him the excuse along with other things to add to them in case they ask for details and after another minute of silence.

She heard his excited voice through the link '[It worked! I'm on my way now!]' she smiled '{Yokatta. Hurry up! It's starting in 12 minutes!}' '[Roger that!]' she giggled out loud at the mock tone he used in that reply and felt relieved he wasn't here to see her blush.

(Aww!~ Kawaii~ :D)

After another minute, she saw him and waved him over as he stopped when he was beside her and panted before he composed himself, smiled at her in greeting, and said, "Yo, sorry I'm late." she smiled back and shook her head as she replied, "It's fine, it wasn't your fault. Now let's go in before the movie starts." he nodded and so they went inside.
