Sports club murder case

AN: I skipped some episodes again but those are the clothes Irene wears when they go back to the crime scene except her sneakers are purple. Let's start the chapter!

Narrator pov. In the Saeki sports club~

The day before the reopening of this newly renovated sports club, the four Mouri household members were invited to try it out. All four of them were exercising on the treadmills and since Irene was obviously the most athletic albeit unwillingly, she was the only one who wasn't panting at their current speed and was actually bored.

Kogoro was the worst at it though, since he was already too tired and ended up falling on his treadmill and staying there while saying "That's it! I'm so tired, I can't move anymore." to which Mouri who was now walking on her treadmill said "That's so pitiful. That's what you get when you drink too much and don't get enough exercise."

Kogoro replied in defense "You fool! We detectives fight with everything from the neck up." Edogawa thought 'Everything from the neck down, in your case.' then there was the sound of people which got the shrunken duo to look over and see some reporters surrounding the sports club owner.

The owner Saeki Reiko was saying "It is our wish to reopen this sports club. I was once a diver; I know what the benefits of exercise are. Therefore I hope I can help other people get strong and stay healthy."

Mouri said "Irene-chan, Conan-kun..." which caught the duo's attention and she continued "Let's forget about dad and go see the swimming pool." the duo got excited at that suggestion and happily agreed.

They arrived at the swimming pool and the other two admired the place while Irene just looked around. Mouri exclaimed, "The glass barrier is so beautiful!" then Edogawa noticed someone in the diving section and exclaimed "Ah! Someone is diving over there." while pointing up at the diving board where someone was getting ready to jump down to the water.

The person jumped and did some flips in the air before diving down to the pool with a splash. The people that were there including those three started clapping at the performance before Mouri told the shrunken duo "That person is one of this club's representatives for diving. I think his name is Saijou-san."

Saijou Naoya climbed out of the pool before looking back up to where he was exclaiming "Ok Naruse, do your best!" another person jumped off the platform but ended up doing bad flips before landing in the water.

Saijou laughed before saying "What the heck was that? And you call yourself a representative of this club?" Naruse Keiichi got out of the pool before replying "I just lack practice, that's all. I will be fine after the reopening preparations are finished." to which Saijou said, "Oh is that really the only reason for your lack of practice?" and Naruse asked, "What do you mean by that?"
