Narrator pov. Evening at the streets of Tokyo~

Irene was walking to the grocery store to buy some groceries for dinner using the money Agasa gave her since he forgot to buy enough for everyone. The Detective boys were having a sleepover at Hakase's tonight for the first time this weekend but he forgot to get extra servings for Genta's meal and since Irene was the fastest, she volunteered to go.

She entered the grocery store and went to buy all the ingredients needed for dinner. While she was picking the groceries and putting them in the cart she felt something awfully familiar.

Eyes staring at her, even worse they were doing so with... lust. 

It didn't take long for her to find the owner of the eyes while pretending not to notice them. It was a black-haired man in his forties who was standing outside looking through the window, the worst part was that he was drunk.

She stopped the flashbacks of the last time this happened back as Rose from coming up in her mind since she really didn't need to start having a panic attack right now and instead continued shopping, hoping that either he'd get bored of waiting and leave or someone would notice what he's staring at and report him to the police. (She'd really like the second option)

She was now done shopping and unfortunately neither of the things she hoped for happened, the man was still there looking at her hungrily with his creepy looking black eyes and every adult around was too busy shopping to even look at the window and notice him.

She took a deep breath before deciding to go to the other exit at the other side of the store to try and avoid him catching her. She reached the exit and looked over to see that he was now looking for her through the window so she exited quietly and started going back to Agasa's.

She kept walking until she reached a crosswalk with the light being red so she stood intending to wait for it to change... until she felt the same eyes looking at her again.

She looked and saw the man running over to her from the direction she came from looking disgustingly more excited now that he can see her more clearly instead of through glass.

The light wasn't going to change in time so she ran off and tried to lose him by going through alleys until she bumped into someone. 

She stopped herself from falling over and didn't have time to see the person clearly since she could still hear the guy running closer so she just exclaimed "Go-Gomenesai!" while bowing quickly before she continued running.
