Narrator pov. Flashback time~ That fateful day at Tropical land~

Roller coasters were all around and people who were riding them were screaming in joy as joyful music played around the amusement park. There were carousels and boat rides and castles.

Mouri was in the spectators' area in the castle, using the tower viewer to look at certain things in Adventure island.

She waved over a certain someone as she exclaimed, "Ne, look, look! There are dinosaurs!" but no one answered or came over which made her look away from the viewer as she said, "Huh?" to see that he wasn't there.

She said, "Mou... He took off somewhere again..." as she looked back through the tower viewer. Someone was holding up a can of Cola as they approached her and touched her cheeks with it which made her gasp at the sudden coldness and look behind her as she placed her hand on her cheek.

Kudo laughed and held up the can as he asked, "Here, aren't you thirsty?" he had his own can in his other hand as she took the offered one and answered, "Arigatou..."

(Fun/cute fact: Shinichi actually did this to Sakura in the last chapter when he needed to go to the bathroom and told her to wait by the benches, of course, what he told her as he offered the can was cuter than this. UvU)

Kudo looked down at his watch before he exclaimed, "Oh no, there's only 3 minutes left!" as he took her hand that wasn't holding the can and started running with her letting out an "Eh?" before she exclaimed, "Ch-Chotto, Shinichi!" as he took her out of the castle and ran to a certain platform.

When they were in the center, he let go of her hand as he sighed in relief and said, "Yosh, we made it." Mouri looked around and asked, "What is this? Just a regular plaza?" he answered, "Well, wait and see."

He looked down at his watch again as he started counting down "10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2..." he raised his hand up and exclaimed, "Ichi!" before the fountain activated which made Mouri let out an "Eh?" in surprise and looked around saying "Nani?" as the fountain activated around their spot.

She gasped in awe as she looked up before Kudo explained, "This fountain activates every 2 hours. You like these sort of things, right?" she smiled as she replied, "Shinichi..." he added, "Well, it's my present to you for winning the karate regional championship. You should be grateful."
