AN: Yes! Finally, it's the chapter that introduces Heiji! I hope you guys are excited cause I sure am! The sneakers are purple and she only has a backpack on, she isn't holding anything. With that out of the way, let's start the chapter!

Narrator pov. At the phonebooth~

Edogawa was using the bowtie to talk to Mouri in his real voice on the phone and he just sneezed which made Mouri say "Taku! It's been forever since you phoned, and you have the nerve to call me with a cold! Hurry up and come back, Shinichi!" and Kudo replied, "I can't return yet, I'm still involved in this big case!" 

The sound of the doorbell was heard from Mouri's end at the agency and she said "A visitor! It sounds like there's a visitor, so I'll talk to you later. Take care of that cold!" before she hung up and Kudo exclaimed "Oi, Ran!" but she has already hung up.

Edogawa said to himself "Taku! When I don't call, she gets all worried. When I do call, she acts all cold. When she opens her mouth, all these complaints fly out!" before he put the phone back in its place on the holder and got out the booth where Irene was waiting for him.

He finished with "Man, I can't understand women!" not realizing that women were around who looked at him in confusion. Irene blushed in embarrassment and pulled him along while saying to the women behind them who were still looking "I-I'm sorry about my friend! He has a cold so he's a little woozy! Please don't take that seriously!"

That's how Edogawa realized what he did wrong and exclaimed "Ah! Gomenesai!" which made the women laugh and say it's ok which got the duo to sigh in relief and continue walking to the agency.

While they were walking Edogawa thought 'Well, at least there's one woman I can understand.' glancing towards Irene before saying "Sorry, I forgot we were in public." she just shook her head and said "It's fine, you need a break from acting like a kid every once in a while outside. Just don't do it when there's a lot of people next time." to which he nodded and the rest of the walk was silent.

(As I said before, this is cute. ^^)

When they arrived at the agency, they could hear a certain Osakan detective's voice exclaiming "Don't lie to me, Neechan! I know he's here somewhere." Irene opened the door and got in with Edogawa behind her at the next part "Hurry up and bring out Kudo Shinichi!"

Edogawa thought 'Eh? Me?'  The Osakan went on "Hurry up and get him!" only to get interrupted by Edogawa sneezing again but thankfully Irene was already far enough away from him to not catch his germs.
