Narrator pov. On the way back from school~

Edogawa was telling the rest of the Detective Boys about what happened in London, while Irene was walking next to Ai, looking down and not being in that much of a mood to talk, at least not with the people who know her identity, she was able to get everyone else to believe she was fine.

Ever since they got back, Irene tried to find a good time to leave and be alone so she could get her thoughts together, unintentionally getting herself distant from Edogawa in the process who noticed. She knew that talking it out with Ai wouldn't help... She would just kill him.

So Irene was obviously still hurt inside, and if she didn't let it out anytime soon, she might end up exploding in the worst moment. She noticed how Ai kept staring at her worriedly, even more so Edogawa's glances at her, but she just gave them a tired reassuring smile.

That didn't convince either of them. And Edogawa couldn't help feeling guilty.

She had congratulated him for it when they were both alone but while her cheerful tone wasn't fake... he could hear the hidden heartache in it, which just confused and worried him, his guilt just increasing by the day.

Ayumi asked, "Honto, Conan-kun? You found a culprit at Wimbledon and caught him?" Edogawa answered, "Yeah." Mitsuhiko asked, "What kind of case was that?" Edogawa answered, "It involved a heinous criminal terrifying London. He'd already blown up 2 hospitals in the past."

Ai's eyebrow twitched, knowing that Irene's mood and whatever else Kudo did in London were connected as she thought 'This little-' annoyed about how he's even telling the kids about how he got involved in a case before Genta exclaimed, "You're awesome!"

Edogawa smiled, but the shrunken girls could see that it was awkward, as if he didn't really believe Genta's compliment.

Genta asked, "Ja, it must've made the news, right?" Mitsuhiko took out his phone and checked which made Genta look at him as he answered, "It seems it hasn't yet. But there was news about a boy from Japan who yelled out and disrupted the match."

Genta this time looked disappointed as he looked at Edogawa and asked, "Was that you too?" Edogawa answered, "Y-Yeah, I had to do it to apprehend the culprit..."
