Narrator pov. On the bus to Haido Hotel~

Mouri, Suzuki, and the shrunken duo were on their way to the cake buffet to celebrate Mouri winning another championship.

Suzuki said, "But Ran, you really are unrivaled! Having won the Kanto Karate Championship and all!" Mouri replied, "It was all thanks to the (Rounding Heel Kick) Kazumi-senpai taught me!" Edogawa thought 'I feel sorry for her opponent...' while Irene was secretly looking around for a certain girl detective.

Suzuki exclaimed, "Ja, today I'll treat you to the cake buffet at Haido Hotel as promised, so eat and get stronger!" Mouri smiled and nodded as she replied, "I'll be sure to eat a lot and get super, super strong!" then they both laughed.

Edogawa thought 'Won't you get fat instead?' and Irene looked at him '{It's just her excuse so she could eat more food. Just play along.}' he had a deadpan look but he still nodded. 

He was surprised that Irene wasn't also excited about the buffet, since there'd definitely be strawberry-flavored cakes in a cake buffet, though she did seem interested in something else.

Suzuki asked, "So? What did Shinichi-kun say?" Mouri let out an "Eh?" so Suzuki added, "When you told him about your victory, you also gave him your answer to that, right?" Mouri replied, "What answer?"

Suzuki answered, "Hel-lo! The answer to that guy's confession in London!" Edogawa flinched and guiltily glanced toward Irene while Mouri nervously answered, "I did inform him about my victory, but... Not my reply to that... Since I also only reported my victory through email... I guess I just feel uneasy talking to him directly..."

Suzuki shouted, "WHAT THE FLIPPING HECK, LADY?! Don't you realize how many days it's been since then?!" Mouri replied, "W-Well, how many days..." Irene thought '13. I counted so I know.' as she looked away and just ignored what she heard from the conversation, it was getting easier.

Suzuki said, "I bet Shinichi-kun is now like..." she sighed in a way that apparently should be boyish then said, "(That Ran, why hasn't she responded to my feelings?)" she held her head, "(Masaka, she has someone else in her heart?)"
