My bestfriend and ex boyfriend who I am still talking to everyday started dating. Ex and I broke up since grad (4 years ago) because of our families :( he was the one who ended it because he said he could never abandon his family. We remain friends and he said he is hoping that I could wait till his family learns to accept me. So I reserved myself for him. I didn't entertain anyone for the past 4 years, thinking that he will ask me out again. My best friend of 10 years knew I still love him till now. However, the two just announced that they're getting married and my bestfriend wanted me to be happy for her. She messaged me that she didn't tell me because she is afraid of how I will act.

I do not know what to feel. I feel betrayed and I wanted to puke. It really hurts that he has moved on with someone who his family could accept. I gave him all my firsts and spent 7 years with him. Is it justified if I just ghost the two of them or should I just forgive and forget? I'm thinking of leaving for a few weeks to cool off.
