I Once had a classmate in DLSU who I was close to, the thing was back when we were classmates we had a lot of fun together and we would just stay by the chess plaza to talk about certain a lot of things or she'd just cover my eyes from behind and make her guess who she was (even though I know well that she was the only person to do that).

Sadly, we never got together, due to my own inhibition about taking things one step further. That was a mistake I always regretted. After college we hardly saw one another again, and needless to say we drifted apart as well

Fast forward to today, I recently saw a post in FB where she was tagged by one of our common professor, I thought I'd be rushing to get in touch with her again, I thought I'd send her a PM on messenger, I thought I'd like to try and pick things up where we left it. But, all I did was smile, and thought to myself "She looks like she's doing great" and just went on with going about the day's work. It was at that point that I realized that it was one of those "what if?" moments, and yeah it feels awful to go through it.

I guess the point in all of this was if you have the chance at something, take it. Don't make the same mistake I did.
