"This is the home stretch baby!" Charles said as we prepared ourselves for the last couple days of being out on tour. It has been quite the experience, but I couldn't lie I was growing homesick. I never thought I would say that, but I miss being able to do things when and how I wanted to. Being on tour has been the most structure that I had ever experienced outside of school. I've always been the one to somewhat walk to the beat of my own drum, but this was absolutely the opposite. Too many sound checks, interviews, practices, trial-runs, wardrobe changes, meet and greets...just too much. I felt like my head was spinning and I'm not even a performer. I give them all credit because they have been killing it the entire time, but I know they're getting tired too. Don't get me wrong, I love the experience, but I'm craving a little calmness for real. "Mannnn the crowd is super turnt tonight." Dox said as he walked backstage after finishing his set. He was literally drenched in sweat at this point. "Mannnnn let me go back here and hit this shower." he said as he wiped his face. "That might be a great idea." I added and we both laughed as he went in the back. I walked up some to catch Kev & D's performance. I noticed they really bid off the crowd when it's their turn. Either from going off of their energy or getting them boosted back up. Watching them interact while she sung to him was a vibe. I'm glad to see them both happy though, because they've been through some shit. But it makes me thankful that me and Chuckie didn't have those types of experiences because we'd never put each other through any fuck shit. I can't even imagine hurting someone that I'm for sure God sent to me. "What you thinking about?" Charles asked as he walked up behind me. "It's just nice to see them happy, you know?" I said to him and he nodded. "Hell yeah! At least they weren't the cliche, feel me?" I looked at him slightly confused by that statement and then he laughed. "You know how they say hurt people, hurt people?" "Oh yeah, they somehow managed to avoid that." I said. "Right. I was more concerned about the tribe for real. That proposal made me think it was over for them for real. I guess in my mind, I thought once marriage was on the table for them, that the extras were off the table." he said. "Yeah, no. They don't look at it as extras though. They're all a unit. I get it, those two might be the ones getting married, but that just increases their bond for real. We just really can't comprehend the half because we're not poly or open." I said to him. He shrugged his shoulders and we both laughed. Before we knew it Dom had stepped backstage with us and we all watched as Kev did his set. "He's killing it." Charles said as we all watched quietly and then seen Kev finally did it. He really jumped into the crowd and surfed. I was so shocked because I have never seen him have that much confidence, but I was happy for him. "I'm glad he finally did it! He was scared for real and he overcame that shit. I keep telling him how much his fans love him." Dom said. "Yeah he has the most solid fan base for real. They rockin with him." Charles said. "Not gonna lie, I was surprised they chose the tribe as the main act and not him." I said to them. "Yeah I think he was discouraged by that honestly. But this definitely should make him feel more secure in it." Dom said. Charles looked over at me and I understood. I never thought about if that messed with his confidence in his music or anything. But knowing and seeing his transformation from that rough street kid to Little Man and now to Influx...he's so different. "He got so much cooking, he don't even know it." Charles said as we watched him safely make it back to the stage and close out his set. Then for the first time, Depth got onstage with the rest of the tribe, they did the one song they all did together and when I say the crowd ate it up, they ate that shit up! Now their onstage chemistry was wild as hell. I was absolutely here for it. When they did their song and the way Aries walked up to Riek was damn near erotic, that song definitely hit different. "Mannnn okay then! That's probably how it be for them in the bedroom." Kev said and we all laughed. Dox and Onyx too as they walked up behind us. "Aries giving off that sex appeal for sure tonight." Onyx said with a smile. "That she is, finally!" Dom said and you could tell they both were loving it. "Fuck the crowd, we be hyping each other up for real." Dox said and he had a point. I loved how all the artists did hype each other up. Like the family unit thing was so tight here and I loved it. But I do want to see them branch out and work with other artists, bigger artists and see where it takes them. I know it was only up from here. Riek and Depth made their way backstage with us. "Yall rocked that shit!" Kev told him as they shook hands. "Us? Nigga only you been able to dive into the crowd." Riek told him. "Damn...we missed it." Dox said as he shook hands with Kev. "You are wearing that dress though Depth." I said as I looked her up and down and she was wearing that midi dress that hugged all of her curves. "Ain't she though?" Riek said as he licked his lips eyeing her and we all laughed. "Chill bruh...too many eyes." Dox said and we laughed again. "I mean Only Fans is a wave though." I said and we really all busted out laughing. "What I miss?" Araya said as she walked off stage to us. "Oh nothing just a multiple streams of income convo." Kev said casually. "Oh like Only Fans?" she said and we all cracked up again. I love these fools.
