(Who would have thought I was writing for day 16 of my posting streak? This is another one I started writing all those years ago, and it has been sitting abandoned, waiting to be fixed/finished and made it onto Wattpad.

Also, the clip above makes me cry every time!)

(Y/n's P.O.V)

War, so much blood loss.

War, so many lives were lost.

War, so many children left orphaned; my brother and I left orphaned.

The war lasted 31 years, and thousands of people died, but in the last stretch, so many brave people fought against him and lost their lives. Dad left me with my step Mum, Tonks; Tonks left me with my brother Teddy, and the next thing I knew, they were both dead. I hadn't left the house since almost four months ago. My brother Teddy was now four months old and hadn't seen his parents since he was just one day old. Teddy used to sleep through the night, but now he's up almost every hour as if he knows.

I heard a knock on the door downstairs but ignored it; whoever was at the door kept knocking. Suddenly, I jolted from my seat at a loud bang coming from downstairs. I picked up Teddy and placed him in the cupboard where he would be safe. I rushed downstairs and grabbed a butcher's knife; I hadn't used my wand in about two months other than to get food. I crept towards the front door, ready to stab someone, but when I saw who was at the door, the knife fell from my hand.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, stricken between wanting to run into his arms and wanting him to leave.

"Y/n, I was worried about you! I haven't seen you since before the war." Ron said, pulling me into a tight embrace.

"I'm not ready! I'm not ready to return to the world they loved so much!" I sobbed.

"I know! George hasn't even gone to the joke shop yet; he's still in his room. But maybe I can help both of you. Come to the Burrow with me, bring Teddy. You can have a proper meal and spend some time outside this house, and maybe you can talk to George!" AH SHIT TEDDY!I turned and sprinted back up the stairs, Ron not far behind me.

I got to the nursery and went over to the cupboard. I picked up my brother, who found all of this quite funny!

"Do you really want Teddy's growth restricted to the walls of this house?" I shook my head and sighed.

"Fine!" I moved over to Teddy's change table and grabbed a bag. I placed a few nappies, wipes, and a change of outfit just in case in the bag. I also grabbed a bottle and put it all into the bag.

I slung the bag over my shoulder and held onto my brother as I walked over to Ron, who wrapped his arm around my waist. The next thing I knew was the familiar tug of apparating before we landed at the Burrow. I looked up at the building, remembering my time there. Ron kept his arm around my waist as we approached the Burrow.

When we reached the door, we stood there for a few minutes to allow me to breathe. Ron opened the door, and we walked into the kitchen. Molly was standing over some pans cooking. She lifted her head and saw me.

"Y/n dear!" She said, coming over and hugging me,

"Hi, Molly!" I greeted her as she pulled away.

"How are you and Teddy?" She asked, looking towards the wide-eyed baby in my arms.

"We are fine!" I told her simply as Ron took the bag from my arms and put it next to the bench before returning to my side.

"We will have to get some food into you! Dinner will be ready in ten! Go say hi to the other kids!" She instructed.

I knew better than to fight with her, so I nodded and led the way to the other room. I went upstairs first to Ginny's room. She was sitting on her bed, cuddling a Quidditch jumper.

"Hey!" I greeted, leaning against the door frame.

"Y/n!" She jumped off the bed and ran over to hug me.

"Hey, munchkin! How are you?" She rolled her eyes at the nickname.

"It's not great, but hopefully, now that you're back, you can help bring everyone out of their slump!" she said with a slight smile.

"That's the plan! Isn't it Won Won?" I said, sticking my tongue out at Ron, which got both of them to laugh.

I smiled slightly at my success. I grabbed Ron's hand with my free one.

"Well, Ginny, we better be off more people to visit!" I laugh a genuine laugh.

Next, I dragged Ron to George's room. Fred and George had been my best friends, and Ron was my boyfriend, but the twins might still be my favourite Weaslys. I knocked on the door but got no reply; I took that as an entry. So I kissed Ron and told him to wait before opening the door.

"Georgie!" I greeted before shutting the door behind me.

George looked up at me with his tear-stained face. He got up from Fred's bed where he had been sitting and pulled me into a hug. Once he pulled away, I put Teddy down on his bed and sat down next to George on Fred's bed.

"How are you hanging?" I asked.

"Not so great." His voice was a horse; he clearly hadn't spoken much in the last few months, just cried.

"Yeah, me neither. But Freddie would have wanted us to keep going. He would have wanted to see your store in full swing again, with new pranks and see your family smile again. We may not have him around anymore, but that means we must work harder to fill his shoes!" I told him with a sad smile. "I see them daily; I see my parents in Teddy and me. I see Fred in you, Ron, and all your siblings. You need to bring back that light they lost when they lost Freddie. They didn't just lose Freddie that day, Georgie; they lost you and me! We used to cook up quite the storm together, but they haven't seen any of us since that day."

George hugged me, and we got up; I picked up Teddy, and we both left the room, much to Ron's surprise. George and I walked downstairs into the kitchen, Ron right behind us. Molly started to sob and ran over to us, hugging us both.

"MUM! YOUR GONNA CRUSH US!" George laughed, making Molly tighten her grip.

Ron laughed and took Teddy from my arms so the poor kid didn't get crushed.
