(Sorry this is late; one laptop had no wifi, and the other wasn't working; my phone isn't working either, so I couldn't update on Saturday)

(3rd Person P.O.V)

She spent her holidays with Draco, who supported her quest to find out who she was. They decided to visit all the Muggle hospitals within walking distance in search of families with a daughter born on September 19, sixteen years ago.

As they dug for information, they came across Hermione's family, who shared the same birthday as Y/n. However, after some investigation, they ruled out Hermione's family as she was an only child. They continued their search by crossing off any family who had not put their daughter up for adoption. Draco provided Y/n with a list of girls born on September 19 in Saint Mungos, and they narrowed it down further. They listed all the people who had a daughter put up for adoption and started going through the list from Muggles to half-bloods to pure-bloods.

Their search led them to the last name on the list, Severus Tobias Snape, a professor at Hogwarts. Y/n was immediately intrigued by this name as she knew it well. With a mixture of excitement and apprehension, Y/n and Draco decided to visit Snape's house. When they arrived at his doorstep, Severus Snape opened the door and eyed them skeptically. Y/n took a deep breath and explained that they were trying to find her parents.

She revealed that she was born on September 19 and was put up for adoption a few weeks later by who she assumed was her father. All her father left for her was her name and a locket. Y/n received a letter yearly on her birthday, and that was about it.

Severus Snape's facial expression softened as he realized that Y/n was his daughter. Tears welled up in his eyes as he pulled Y/n close. Y/n, too, was emotional, and hugged him back. She had so many questions that needed answers, and Severus Snape invited her and Draco into his house.

As they sat down in Snape's living room, Y/n looked around, taking in the surroundings. The walls were lined with books, and there were several potion vials scattered on the shelves. Y/n noted that it was the first time she had ever been in a wizard's home, and she felt a sense of wonder and curiosity.

She looked at her father and asked, "Dad, tell me everything."

And so, Severus Snape began to tell her about her past and her family history. I apologize for the delay in responding. One of my laptops had no WiFi, and the other one was not working. Additionally, my phone was also not functional, so I was unable to update on Saturday.

The story follows Y/n's point of view. During the holidays, Y/n and Draco kept in touch as they searched for information about Y/n's true identity. They visited all the Muggle hospitals within walking distance to find families with a daughter born on September 19, sixteen years ago. They ruled out Hermione's family since she was an only child. They also excluded any family who had not put their daughter up for adoption.
