(I'm fully aware that a lot of my books have the Reader as Remus and Sirius' daughter, but that is because they are my parents in my reality. I often base stories on my reality because my reality is what gets me through my day, and I'm pretty good at visualising when it is already in my head from my reality. If you Potterheads prefer I stop using them so much, let me know, and I'll stop, but for now, this will be another story of Y/n Lupin-Black.

I am still determining where I should start with this one. I feel motivated, so we will see where this goes! I had a few ideas for stories over the last few weeks, but now that I have finally got around to it, all ideas have escaped me! I don't know what I will write about, but ideas will come to me soon! I will write anything that comes to my head; whenever I have enough, I will work with it!

Love Always,

Miss Lupin-Black)

(Auther's P.O.V)

It was almost 18 years ago to the day that the happy couple Remus and Sirius Lupin-Black laid eyes on their beautiful daughter for the first time; they couldn't have been prouder of their little girl. Y/n had the most gorgeous brown hair that matched both her Dad's and her eyes, which matched her hair. It was a deep chocolate brown and always glistened with joy and mischief. They were watching her graduate from Hogwarts; they sat above at the teacher's table. A look of pride on both of their beaming faces.

The family had lived at Hogwarts Y/n's whole life; she had grown up with the teachers and watched students start and finish at Hogwarts, becoming friends with many of the students as her charming personality was hard for anyone to ignore. Remus or Sirius never thought about the day she would graduate; they didn't want to think about where life would take their baby girl. Would she return to school? Become a teacher? Or will she go out and find something so completely different?

All Remus and Sirius knew was that they would always love and support the little girl they had chased around the halls of Hogwarts as she caused trouble over the last 18 years. They couldn't help but feel disheartened that their darling girl was going to be leaving them behind as she went off to find her own path.

(Y/n's P.O.V

Despite Hogwarts being my home my whole life, I knew I couldn't stay forever. I had always imagined growing old at Hogwarts, but I had also always imagined getting married and having my own kids. I wanted to go out and explore; I had yet to see much outside the bounds of Hogwarts.

I didn't want to leave, not really. Hogwarts would always be my home, and I would come back and visit, but staying can feel almost restricting. Have you ever wondered how a chicken or a bird would feel when you clipped its wings? How do they think watching other birds fly free while trapped in a cage? I do because despite having all the freedom around the grounds as I wanted, my parents never really let me leave Hogwarts; they thought it dangerous.

I knew that all they wanted was to keep me safe. There were death eaters on the loose, and Voldemort was at the height of his power, but if I were to die tomorrow, I wouldn't want my whole life to be behind the gates that surrounded Hogwarts. I wanted to go out and meet someone and explore the world for myself.

So, as I sat at the table eating my last meal as a Hogwarts student, I looked at my parents, both watching me as I raised a glass with a sad smile. They both returned the gesture, Dad(Sirius) sending me a wink.

I then looked around the room at my classmates, who were all heading home tomorrow. I was also heading home to my Dad's childhood home. I will be staying at 12 Grimald Place. Dad had always said that he never wanted to return to that place, so if I wanted it, it was mine. I'd already told them my plans to leave.
